We returned to mostly cloudy - with a bit of SUN throughout the day - it does appear the colder temps have allowed Ski Roundtop to make snow from what I see in the background on the hills - 

Approaching 6pm, it is 43 and cloudy -

This was the next stop for FrEYEday's 'venture -

I always love to check these out -

I know of several friends that would sign up for The Beach being their happy place - I did comment to them that around 'here' it is The Shore - growing up it was always going 'Down The Shore' -

I'm pretty sure some of you might know which other one caught my eye -

It's Benning's Farm - and some of his chickens are in this freezer case - I did get some Cod from here - as I was shopping I kept crossing paths with an older lady - yes, even older than I am - she said the Cod in that case is awesome - and she highly recommended it - seeing her other items made me take her suggestion - so our freezer now has a bag of the cod - I can pop it out at I want one -

Yet another reason we shop here - they 'get it' and pay back -

I told now we'll be going back to The Khottage and her DogTax would be taken care of!

Auntie Di gifted this to Willow for a previous Christmas - so of course the other beware sign had to follow us back to The Khottage -

We had a nice Saturday - hairs got cut - I got some groceries at Weis - and then we headed to Dawn's for our last 2023 Saturday breakfast - of course, you know we'll share !

Now to ask two questions: where did our weekEND go AND where did 2023 go as well?

Saturday Sharing

Actually no fog - and no excessive overcast!

Approaching 5pm, it is 48 and partly cloudy -

Once we were able to commit to our 'venture, some pup was excited when I out on OutdoorWorld clothes - and began the race around the kitchen - she was at the side door to The Garage when I convinced her to move for a photo -

She seemed quite taken with the OTHER KhrossTrek Dog -

'VENTURE TIME!

PlantBox is just over there - beyond that white vehicle - 

Yep - you guessed it - even though we were already planning on breakfast here Saturday morning, something lured us in - further down in the post -

I meant to take this last week - it is a beautiful wreath -

Being watched whilst they bagged our foodables -

The Judgey Dog - we did head south on George Street for a half mile or so for another 'venture stop - we'll share THAT here tomorrow to keep the pictures under 87 -

Back to The Khottage with foodables and more -

Having brought in our stuffs, Willow started working the Samsung camera -

Dog Tax Cracker #1 dipped in my Dutch Potato Soup -

There was the standard Heeler happy dance - complete with nippy air snaps at her treat -

INCOMING!!!

THIS is why we went to Dawn's first - I needed to see if there was any of this Honey Cake

9 delicious honey filled layers with a light, whipped, dulche de leche frosting!

And we got the last piece in the case - I had stage to take a picture before I had my soup but I forgot to capture it for I was making sure to pay THE DOG TAX!  So we took another - albeit without soup -

AND THE HONEY KHAKE WAS SOOOOOO YUMMY GOOD!!!

 And I just couldn't say no to this Iced Cranberry Loaf - after all, cranberries are quite healthy, right 😉

Since Willow learned she would have TWO days to work here next week, she started practicing her speed bump skills -

As I said, we did make another stop - so she was a happy KhrossTrek Khanine -

Today is a Human groomer appointment - and since the weather is suitable for her to wait for me, she'll go along - and we'll do breakfast on the way back - I didn't want to 'think' we could be up and about early enough to do it before!

My 'brunch' - Florida Greens -

Whilst Auntie Di was here on Christmas, she rearranged The Lamby Flock -

We had a nice dinner with Linda - once we all made it there - there were wires down around where we were going to meet - so Diane called me as I was about two minutes from there to tell me about it - with Plan B of Smokey Bones - so we regathered and headed West from the South end of York - it all worked out - we were lucky it was holiday 'non work traffic' time or it might have been more painful - 

Willow was very understanding about her dinner being delayed but I compensated her with my leftover YUMMY salmon, green beans, and everything mashed potatoes - 

Of course, today will bring some 'venture(s) - we'll see what our day brings!
