Eight Weeks and Khounting...

Sibertarian Pawty Khonvention
Arena, Wiskhonsin
September 9th, 2008
...until the khonkhlusion of the 2008 presidential elekhtion - only a few more chekhkpoints to go until the teams arrive in Nome - I mean elekhtion booths all akhross this khountry.

It has been a furry challenging race that akhutally seems as if it started bakhk in 2006 DESPITE the OFFICIAL title of 2008.

This has been the time for the Sibertarian Pawty to gather fur our khonvention. We chose to have it in a state that presents many options fur us and had a great venue able to hold all the delegates and pawticipants.

Here is a preview khopy of my speech fur the press and fur those of woo unable to attend:

When Turbo furst asked me to bekhome his running mate, I didn't have to think twice. I was honoured fur we shared so many khommon beliefs. I think the belief that really cemented our relationship is that the majority of people are stoopid.

We share a vision and goal that they khan change - and this change khan be akhkhomplished but it will rekhwire change. But they seem to like change fur they change their khlothes, hairstyles, television channels, and shoes - to name a pawful of things. SO changing how they think and akht should be a vikhtory that is furry khlose.
Therefore, I would like to state loudly and proudly that I will be honoured to akhcept my pawty's nomination fur Vice President.

Please allow us to work fur YOU to ensure that change khomes to this great khountry!

We're just sayin' it is time fur change
AND cheese and bakhon!

Get ready Amerikha and get ready Washington, change is khoming - vikhtory is within sight with Turbo/Khyra 2008.

As Turbo and I chatted about what was going on bakhk in our respekhtive khommunities, we diskhovered a furry interesting tidbit of information. Just as one of the major parties demonstrated how jealous they were of his choice of me for his running mate, we found out both parties are attempting to sneak into our bakhkyards in our absence. My D khounterpart, the Honourable Senator Biden from Delaware will be making an appearance in Turbo's town and the R's are travelling in a pakhk to Lankhaster - a town fairly khlose to my frontyard.
We agreed that has to be yet another sign that we have them skhared. Our vision of change fur this great khountry has stirred many a heart and head. Their khonvenient skhheduling of their visits during OUR khonvention is yet another sign all that we're just sayin' is just bein' takin' seriously!

I now give you, the next president of our khountry, T U R B O.
He'll change how we view change - no fake change or real change: JUST change!
PeeEssWoo: Remember the wonderful things this great state offured us? Well, I ate eight cheeses!

P.S. Are you sure there is enough cheese?

Hey, Khyra, That was a lovely comment you left on Opus & Roscoe's blog. We're a blended family of cats and dogs, so don't worry, they won't hate you because you're a canine! How could anyone hate you, for any reason?

We must have missed some posts. We weren't aware you are running for VP. Cheysuli the Meezer cat has been running for President. This should be a very interesting election!

Who could say no to cheese and bakhon??

Jans Funny Farm said...

Uh, Khyra,

About the comment you left on JFF about "dogs rule, cats drool." You have that backwards. Cats rule, dogs drool.

We know because we have both species here.

Great choice. Mom and Dad are originally from Wisconsin. They both grew up on farms so the truly know what hard work is.. Mom wants to get back there someday and open a rescue kennel on her farm. She not only one's to rescue dogs and cats but farm animals too. We sure hope her dream comes true soon. We love cheese too..
