Monday MOMday

The Now Lady PF was watching for the wet -
And it came - a mix - due to our temperature -

Now time for MY 'venture -
Across Church Road to pick up I83 North -
Heading into Downtown Mechanicsburg -
I was earlier than normal - the lots were empty - but that changed by the time I left in the afternoon -

My flight - put together with assistance of Jason - my bar wolf - he even suggested the drinking ordre - GREAT JOB!

Early on The Head Wolf Derek changed the lighting - Iggle Green -
I chatted with Elaine - Momma Wolf to be 'SOON' - February 8th - and in a bit with Derek - he poured
a taste of a new one -

I got some of the broccoli - cheddar soup -YUM!

AND a New Beginnings #10 - which sadly is somewhat dedicated to 'industry FAMILY'
Someone stopped in to get a Growler of #10 - she had worked with the family - and said how lucky they were - they barely got out with shoes -

As some of you know, our brewery neighbor and friends, the Hemauer family lost their home to a fire earlier this week. We can’t even begin to fathom how horrifying this would have been. We are so incredibly grateful that they all made it out safely. Since day one we have always admired Brooks & Shannon’s hard work, positive spirit, and determination. We have no doubt that the Hemauer family will rebuild from this traumatic event, stronger than ever, both physically and mentally.
To help raise funds for the Hemauer family, we will be donating proceeds from our newest beer release that we were planning to release this weekend - New Beginnings #10. We are tapping this beer in honor of the Hemauers and proceeds will be donated to them to help get back on their feet. Let’s raise a glass to the Hemauer family!
A part of our New Beginnings series, experimenting with new techniques and ingredients. New Beginnings #10 is a Hazy IPA brewed with Pilsner malt and heaps of raw wheat for a silky soft body followed by a whirlpool addition of Azacca LupoMAX and dry hopped with our favorite, Vic Secret, and the almighty Galaxy. Expect aroma and flavor notes of candied pineapple, tangy passionfruit and tangerine peels with a grassy finish.
You can also support the Hemauers by visiting their brewery, Hemauer Brewing Co, located just 2 miles away from us in the Wesley Plaza Shopping Center. Be sure to pay them a visit and spread some positivity their way! You can also donate via a GoFundMe using the link here:
I had wanted the hummus special - but they were out so I went with the Kennett Square Mushroom Flatbread again - and half followed me home to share with Willow!
This month's FLIGHT FOR A CAUSE -
See you in February - and hopefully by then, The Wolf's Wolf PUP will have arrived -

Back to I83 to head South -
Left onto Church Road -
Left onto Board Road -
and back to The Khottage - and WILLOW!

Happy Monday EvFURRYone!

All Of Us At NAK's Khottage
Now With KhattleDog!

How funny. I will be getting the ingredients for a broccoli cheddar soup tomorrow when I shop. It's a delicious soup! Thank goodness everyone made it out of the fire.

#1 spotted that broccoli and cheddar soup and thought it sounded delish!

Wolf Brewing does a lot of good stuff, aside from beer!
