NOW, for some thinking (and thanking too):
To all my furiends out there. We all know the howlidays are khoming. The time of year to give pressies and such. WELL, I wanted to let evfurryone know that since I like to surprise my furiends throughout the year with things that just make me think of them, I've asked Mom to make donations to several of the Siberian Reskhues AND to the 'B&B' I khame from instead of sending gifts this khristmas.
I know I keep hearing Mom say things are really bad out there fur too many families (furry and human) - with some families having to make some furry diffikhult choices. The shelters and reskhues are filling up with pets that khan't be taken to the apartments or shelters the humans have to move into due to loss of jobs and/or houses.
It isn't much but I'm hoping it will be something to help get the groups through some ruff times.

Khyra, I think that is a splendid thing that you and your Mom are doing...donations to shelters and rescues are just the pawfect gifts you could give! We sure hope the pups there would be able to find their furever homes soon...*crosses paws*

I agree the local shelters are in a bad fix with the excess pets they are getting. (Nice family dogs too)

That is one of the best gifts that you could give anyone. We are all so lucky to have furever homes. It would be great if we could help just a few pups this season.

It is extra special that you and your Mom are donating to rescues and shelters. So many folks tend to buy a pet at the holidays without realizing exactly what they are getting into.

Khyra, you are your mom are wonderful for doing this. We want to help our furfriends too and will be donating also! Sadie was rescued from a puppy mill in Nebraska and she and another puppy were adopted out but all the other huskies went to rescue places throughout the midwest. Angel and Isabella were adopted from the local shelter. I know how important it is to help those places out.
That's pawsome that you're thinking of the other animals in the shelters and rescues. ;)
