As promised by The Babblers, there was wet for Christmas - 

AND as also promised, there were periods of SUN -

FrEYEday's completec crockpot - turned it off during the overnight but then back on during SaturDAY -

And knew the pasta and spinach wouldn't fit - no worries on that for I had plans to switch to a larger pot for transport -

The SousChef was compensated with some noodle pieces -

AND as I stage this post, it smells wonderful simmering away - final verdict to come in tomorrow's post - 

AND 55 as I park this for SUNday publication -

Willow and I had a relaxing Christmas morning - we slept in a bit then went to Rutters - one of our other convience stores - for my free coffee - and I enjoyed a breakfast sandwich - and hashed brown rounds - and so did Willow - then I completed the soup prepping as detailed above - with the dishwasher doing its work after I finished ours!

The day finished up with dinner at The Farm - with the Golden sisters - and my human siblings - details to come tomorrow - along with the HOLIDAY fun with Auntie Di on FrEYEday and Willow's excitement to see her!

Saturday Sharing

From The PF Palace -

...and a partidge on a pear tree perch?

It got in to the 50's for the day - Auntie Di and I each wore our flip flop sandals for our festive time -

Auntie Di and I were  planning to head to lunch 'noonish' so until she goe there, Willow and I did our walk!

We did half The Block and headed back to The Khottage but Willow chose to take us out to George Street -

During the morning, I had 'dusted-furred off' the snow man - and Willow did wear them but they would slip off prior to photos - 

I gave up but the best of intentions were there -

BUT we were a bit more successful with her Auntie Di present - photos of that tomorrow -

So after Auntie Di and I did lunch, it was nappy time for Willow and I  - with dreams of sugar yums - and other tasty stuff -

Worn out after helping with the kitchen duties - she was quite an attentive sous chef!

Willow has been entrusted with keeping The Khottage safe whilst I head to Khousin Benny's Farm later today - as our weekend winds down - I love my new shorter day schedule but I miss my longer weekend - guess one can't have both!

A week - as told by the SKeyeS -

Two on a ledge - next line includes something about a pear tree ;-) -

It appears Willow will get her pre-Christmas walk today - going to try and khapture more of the neighborhood's holiday scenery!  

We had a mini adventure Thursday evening - after concluding my week at The GKP, I came home for Wiggles and off to MyGiant to get the items I needed to make Lasagna soup for Saturday - then home via Checkers for dinner - Auntie Di and I had been going to attend a Thursday night event at John Wright Restaurant but Wednesday they announced due to a combination of factors, they were closing until December 29th - but I believe we'll be doing lunch somewhere today -
