SUNday evening's final trachea time - with Little moving JUST as I took the picture -
Her reaction to it was another item marked on the mental list -
She did a LittleMindMeld with it but soon went a-crunching - complete with ruglickingcrumbcleaning -
With much of evening spent enjoying the front door khhol spot -
perfect snoozzzzzzzzZing -
Little did want to tell everyone that she'll be getting her wings today - around 10am -
This will be day we always knew would come - and I'm not sure I expected it to come so 'quickly' but over the last week or so, the lumps in her right shoulder area have grown at an unbelievable rate - with walking uncomfortable - although not painful - I'm very much aware of watching for pain - there are other 'signs' of it's time - I've asked her to let me know - to help with the decision - and her eyes and tail have told me she's ready - ready to celebrate her 14th birthday on November 30th at The Rainbow Bridge with her NowAngelMomDebbie - and her other family
Whilst at work on Saturday, Auntie Di and I were exchange some text messages and I let her know the time was approaching - she stopped by to see - AND brought Little some BACON - but she too could see it was time - for the sake of Little's PRIDE and DIGNITY -
Monday morning I contacted Peaceful Pet Passage - the kharing hearts I had used for NAK - and rather than push it out - and risk Little feeling more pain and such, I chose Tuesday morning - so Monday afternoon was alternating tears and smiles - and second guessing yet ultimately knowing IT WAS the correct call -
Please keep her in your thoughts and just think what a special Thanksgiving it shall be as HOLLY gets to wag with NAMD - I'll share some more pictures and thoughts - but for now...
