Monday MOMday

Your daily shot of PF stuff!
AND some ME!

I helped Mom warm up the flashie beastie prior to her hitting the road

*

*

Okay Mom - good to go!

Thanks Khyra!

*

I knew it was going to be a good day when this vehicle yielded to permit me to enter the interstate - too bad I didn't have Boo with me yet so I could send her along to Sadie's Mommy - Sadie said her mommy was quite taken by Boo's pics!

*

Ken in Hagerstown - he was enjoying just watching the world

As did Jack

Sorry I cut off part of Boo's face - I think her eyes show forgiveness!

As I framed the shot, some pup moved -

We stashed their luggage in the crate and let them sprawl out for the ride to Harrisburg

Boo had already perfected the art of paw khrossing

The Red Buds were quite the sight in PA and MD - these were in MD -

The first of our YELLOW for MURRAY - and actually, this would also be for Murray's Dad since he is one of those golf fanciers!

Boo and Ken were almost Siamese Pups -

*

PAWSylvania welcomed them!!!

Our next YELLOW for MURRAY - and you can't quite see it but the Florida plate on the truck said VPR HLR - how clever!

Snoooooozy time!

Same in the shotgun spot too!

Still snoooooozin'

This was in Harrisburg -

Same here!

He was a true joy to transport - as you'll hear in the videos, I had called him JJ - one of the run sheets had called him Jake - and then he was Jack - his transport tag did read Jack -

Boo and Ken in the cul-de-sac at The EarthLink meeting spot

Photographing a Basset is SURELY a challenge - as you'll see in the Photobucket Album, I got very few full body shots -I was always missing some portion of him - the L-O-N-G body and L-O-N-G tail were a hoot!

She was a natural!

See!

He really wanted to drive to Allentown but I convinced him to rest up in the passenger seat

We took the crate door off this large one so Ken snuggled in there for the start - Peggy was sitting nearby with Boo since Jack was in the front passenger seat with Mike doing the chauffeuring!

This week's Harrisburg shot

Another YELLOW for MURRAY - I had this behind me as we came across the bridge - I was happy when it was able to pass me so I could get a shot of it!

A bit nicer than it was on the AM portion of the trip!

I saw this YELLOW for MURRAY on the AM portion - and grabbed a shot as I passed it on the return trip

Mission Accomplished!!!
I can confirm what all the drivers from Saturday had shared - these three were true sweeties!

Jack and Ken were introduced to their furever humans early Sunday evening - and Boo went on to her rescue in Nyack NY - Dapper Dog

As you'll see and hear in the Photobucket, the leg was in honour of Nikki and her furever family The Nelsons - and for Fred The Bloodhound who was taken by The Evil Seizure Monster late Saturday night - as I said in the video, it was a bittersweet dedication - but all part of having a pet in your life - there will always be sad with the happy -

Here is the link to the Photobucket - lots and lots of pictures AND five videos -

I'm hopeful we'll receive some pictures of the happy families - I'll let Khyra share them here this week!

SO, once again, we've got proof of how RESCUES ROCK!

Thanks to all that made it happen!

There are LOTS more pics on The Rotts 'n Pups FB page - we suggest you head on over and check them out!

Happy Monday EvFURRYone!

Khyra will back in KHONTROL here tomorrow!

First, that was one AWESOME s-t-r-e-t-c-h, my dear! Great transport pics - that Jack is a handsome devil, isn't he? Is that a "Jack" trait? Ha-roo roo roo!

Best wishes to all the puppers in their new beginnings!

Just loving those playbows and stretches, MFT. And what a terrific transport trio. We agree with Mango that it was just so fitting to have Jack along to honor Fred.

Happy Monday.

Jack is just awesome. I'm so glad he's landed in a wonderful home.

The shot of him in the driver's seat really cracks me up. There are so many cute ones of him...

My cousin is a basset. She isn't very good at being a model either.

Kyra, you are looking really good in those photos.

Khyra, we don't know how your mommy could leave when you showed her that last pose but we're glad she was able to transport the 3 sweeties! If only Boo had been with her she may be on her way to us already! Oh so close! Her sweet face really tugs at our mommy's heart strings. We hope she finds a loving furever home soon!

Asta is right. While losing a friend is so very sad, one look at the second chances you help these rescue pups reach reminds us the the cycle of life abounds with happiness as well. I hope Fred and his mom find peace.

Thank you so much for all you do with the transports. We love that Jack to pieces for sure. I could snuggle his sweet face for sure. We are so glad that you had some drool and ears on the transport in honor of Fred. We loved that big ol hunk of love Fred since we found their blog and loosing our bloodhound Tabby. So very sweet of you and I am sure it has helped Kari. Again, thanks for helping Jack to his fur-ever home. Just wish it would have been ours. BOL Sniffs, The HoundDogs

Mom thinks she's seen that Viper at the national car races - complete with the yellow truck... Of course, it could be a completely DIFFERENT Viper, but hey, it's still cool! ;-)

Khyra - your Mom is so good! Murray loved all those yellow photos and his Dad was delighted with his one!

He was over in Augusta many moons ago for the Masters and would love to be heading back over again. In fact two of our friends left yesterday and Murray's dad is very jealous!

Thanks again for always thinking of Murray and putting up yellow photos! We have been very bad at keeping up with all our comments in the past few weeks but we are looking at our friends blogs!

Murray's Mom is taking time to get fully better here!!

But we always love your yellow photos for Murray! He loves so much that you think of him and your Mom, Khyra, cheers us all up with them!

best wishes
