Tuesday Telling

Lord PF was out there - on point of course -
Lady PF dropped by later - looking west -
Them east in the afternoon -
Heading to 730pm - 53 - Clear -
After brunch at Dawn's - we went to Leg Up Farmers Market - it is <0.25 miles or so -
Neigh!
These were in the hallway as I left the store - I always love to look at what talented humans did -

These creature was out in the parking lot - I've never seen an all black one - when another shopper saw me taking a picture, she made sure to watch it as she left her space - and I rehomed Blackie to the grass strip -
Oh look - a HAPPY Heeler -
Loved the wit of the license plate on The Stinger -
I got two containers of salad mix - this Pumpkin Cheesecake -
And I was told by Misty and Timber's Mom these were tasty - especially with a litte peanut butter on them so when I saw Leg Up's Ad in my mail - and they showed they had these - and on special 😀
I had contemplated taking sweet Willow to Sweet Willows for ice cream but decided that can be this weekend - as I really needed to make the beets from our last CSA box - I did some research on my options - hopefully without getting too pink - I washed them - cut a bit off each end - then did four for twenty minutes - after they cooled I sliced - and tasted them - and decided to leave the bit of skin on - figuring more fibe was a win -
Add beets to The Veggie Hound's list of yums -
This was the last two - did them for twelve minutes since the one was larger - and had put a bit of water in the covered dish - no pink on me -and the dishwasher took care of the Corningware -
I splashed a bit of Rice Wine vinegar when I put them in their container - and they've been a GREAT salad ingredient -
Whilst the beets were being zapped, I took the potatoes from the CSA box - slow roast - some olive oil - a red onion - and after this picture was taken, added a sliced red pepper - this was all turned into potato salad -so it was a productive day in The Khottage Kitchen -

Happy Tuesday EvFURRYone!

It's going to be mostly rain over here this week but so far we have managed to avoid it on our walks.

Woofs,
Ollie

Love the autumn display with the horse and all of the white pumpkins and the artwork is just beautiful! I have never cooked beets before. I always buy pickled beets in a jar!

Is there a veggie that Willow won't eat?
