Lord PF showed to prep dinner!

                                    

            Approaching 530pm and it's 59 and cloudy           

'venture time!

The colors - the smells - the drugs -

Our spot - and we were treated to a Blue Heron fly by!

Dogs use the LEFT entrance -

KHATS to the right -

Her sleepy juice had been given - that was a challenge - I joked didn't they have a blow gun - it was team effort of The VET - the VET Tech - and me - pinning her against the chair / wall / my hold -

She was just around 62#

And we waited - and we waited - for it to kick in - she was so listening to all going on - 

But still not enough in LaLa Land for the exam bloodletting gland doing nail clipping - 

So another small dose was given - and that FINALLY did it -

What nice nails!

This furry nice display was set up in the office area - with pictures of all the VET TECHS - with their pets -

And WigglyWobbles made her way to The KhrossTrek -

She made it in - 

And made it out when we got home -

I expected her to do some more napping whilst I went for our lunch - but as soon as I grabbed the keys and headed to the door, she staggered over - so off we went - and we'll share that here tomorrow -

By the time we got back to The Khottage - and we are about FoUR mintues from TheVetOffice - they emailed that her blood letting was good - 

We are pleased to inform you that Willow's blood parasite screen is negative for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlicia and Anaplasmosis

The VET did suggest that maybe next time/year we do a dental - we'll see -

She did spend the rest of FrEYEday napping it off - in fact, she's still doing that now - of course, this is what I expected - and so wish we didn't have to do it THIS way but there was NO WAY she would have been able to have any exam without it - a friend stopped by in the afternoon - he always gives her a biscuit - he asked if she could have one - I said sure - she just let it hang out of her mouth like a tongue - and she usually goes along to walk him to his car - not this time - 

Our Saturday 'venture will be a bit different than 'usual' - I have a groomer appointment early so I may see if she wants to ride along - and we need to pick up our November Hazel Box a week early due to Kerri's event schedule - so we may do LUNCH with BobTheKhat - I am still deciding -
