The latest entry on The Falcon Wire

 6/15/2020  ::   Flight Improvements Continue

Both juvenile falcons that were released in downtown Harrisburg are flying well and continuing to improve. That leaves the third fledgling, which is still at the rehabilitators. The concern is that this falcon still needs time in the flight cage to strengthen its flight muscles in order to consistently gain more height. We continue to take precautions, so once this level of flight ability is reached, this falcon will be returned to the Rachel Carson State Office Building for release. We anticipate this will occur either Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday.

The weather was pawesome again - the kind we would choose much of the year - nice walk - bit of weeding and trimming of the neglected rose bush - and reading of the Sunday Inquirer -
