Monday MOMday

 The usual updates on the Peregrine puppies!!

 A shot of me - or should I paw me and my shadow as we start on our SUNday afternoon walk!!!

I decided to let the pups out of their crates for the trip to Harrisburg - I closed the door on the larger one but let this one open

It was my goal to wear 'em down a bit so they would be ready for a nap as they made the trip to Allentown from Harrisburg

Hope was the sister that caught my fancy - actually, from the first time I saw their pictures - her muzzle just snagged my heart!

I'll say one thing  - actually two things - about the new Blogger format - it was quicker to upload the pics - I could do them all in one shot BUT I'm frustrated by the captioning - if I try to caption under the pics by just adding text - then use the alignment function on the toolbar, most of the time it brings up the last pic in the post - grrrrr - so then I have to use the caption part of the picture options - no real biggie BUT soooooo unsettling to the Virgo in me!

Anyway, it was an awesome transport - the four of them were great together - and were well behaved on their trip from Hagerstown Merryland to Harrisburg PAWSylvania!!!!

All four of them were HOME Sunday night - and from the pictures I saw, quite the hits!!!!

I'll share the family smile shots on Tuesday - or should I say, I'll let Khyra do that!  You will notice in the Photobucket there is THANK YOU card from Faith's new human sister - we'll feature that  on Tuesday as well

The transport was dedicated to all The Angels - those 'here' with us - those already across The Rainbow Bridge - and those angels making their way as they earn their wings - Angel Merlin kept our passengers safe from GA to NJ - Brody, Charity, Hope, and Faith had two angels watching out for them on those now eventful days - 

Once again, we can SO tell how RESCUES ROCK - especially Rotts 'n Pups!!!!

Angel Merlin



With Springer



This transport is dedicated to an incredibly handsome collie named Merlin – a young merle collie, who was companion to this transport’s overnight sleepover hostess, Sariah Richardson, and her family. Merlin was only four years old when a tragic, freak accident took him from his family in November of last year; they know we share their grief. Merlin LOVED life; he loved to run and play - and he was a great boy with the kids as they did agility practice – Sariah says if they showed him a hot dog, he would do anything!! Some of you driving this weekend’s transport will surely recognize a picture of Merlin from last year, when the sleepover was again at Sariah’s home…. a picture of Merlin and our sweet rottie girl, Springer, playing together in early Sunday morning dawn, waiting for the first Sunday driver. Thank you, Angel Merlin for your graceful, watchful guidance during our transport this weekend, as these puppies make that long two-day journey to their new families’ love. RIP, Sweet Angel Merlin – run and play long and hard at the bridge with those who crossed before you.

The Nice Mary Lady sent the above dedikhation on the runsheet fur this weekend's transport - all the Saturday drivers mentioned how sweet and khute and nice the passengers were!

The Zen-terra is headed to Hagerstown Merryland fur their trip to Harrisburg PAWSylvania!

PeeEssWoo: Thanks fur the kind words about MoMo - here is the latest we saw on her FB page - please keep her and SS in your thoughts 

MoMo is going in for surgery tomorrow. The vet suspects a tumour under the tongue. If confirmed, she won't be coming home. I am crying and too upset to post or return visits. Thankyou all for your purrs and well wishes.
