 Lady PF was hanging out on Saturday - no doubt watching the crowd in DaBurg -

Ready to hit 6pm - 26 - Fair - and the temps continue to taunt & tease -

FrEYEday's lunch spot was a longtime family favorite - they were long time friends - and supporters of TADN - in that when our parents split, TADN would frequently dine there -and they took great care of "Mom" as all there called her - but come sometime early in the new year, it will have new owners as the current owner - another Diane - wants to retire and enjoy life -

In honor of the weather outside at the time, I went with a Troegs Blizzard of Hops -

Auntie Di split the medium HAWAIIAN pizza - because PINEAPPLE DOES belong on pizza - and their pizza is just so tasty -

This was Kevin's - the new male partner - first stromboli - he's been spending time in their kitchen learning how to do it all -

We split a medium stromboli - complete with onions green peppers and mustard -

We did suggest more mustard - it was a wee bit lacking to us - 

And I had gotten some soup to have for dinner - so this was my takeaway - Auntie Di had a box of her own -

When Willow and I left, I snapped a shot of the dining room - Auntie Di stayed and went home to Khousin Emmy later -

Westgate has always been a cash only spot - so after paying out tab, Willow and I went to procure more green paper$ for our Saturday plans -

She thinks the ATMs need to have a button to include dog biscuits like they give at the drive thru -

Back to our Cousler Park light intersection -

Due to weather and more, I did request I could pay The Dog Tax when we returned to The Khottage - 

She was fine with that arrangement -

Settling in for such ZzzZzzZzz time -

My soup had come with crackers so whilst heating it, I did pay The Cracker Tax -

Pumpkin Apple Bacon soup - and yes - it was very very tasty - and a fitting way to wrap our Westgate Day -

The original date for it to close under the original owner was year's end - but the liquor license transfer is still in the works - so Kevin and his wife won't be taking it on until sometime in early 2025 - they've indicated they intend to maintain much of the current Westgate way - but it is still bittersweet and memory triggering for 'us' -

As we expected, we did have a very full - and productive Saturday - and now you know what we'll ask: where did our weekEND go? 

Due to holiday mid-week, Corporate has moved the Payroll Processing for the week to TODAY - so they can have deposits and checks for Tuesday - so things will be a bit different for our WFH shift -

Since our Winter Solstice officially happened on Saturday, we can say
