This transport is dedicated to Timothy Johnson, 33, a volunteer pilot with Pilots ‘n Paws since June, 2009.  Tim was killed on Saturday, December 08, when his small plane crashed just minutes after taking off from Lantana airport in Lake Worth, FL.  He was NOT flying a rescue mission at the time of the crash.

Our deepest sympathies are extended to Tim’s family as they struggle with this heartbreaking loss.  The animal rescue community mourns with his family, friends, and the PnP group.  We grieve for Tim, and we know we have lost a wonderful young man who had such a compassionate heart for animals and rescue work.

RIP, Tim Johnson.  Although many of us never had an opportunity to meet you, we admire and respect your passion, dedication, and work that helped move many rescued animals to safety.
We know your welcome at the Rainbow Bridge was magnificent

Mom says she wonders if he's been giving the special newest Rainbow Bridge Angels plane rides

Happy Sunday EvFURRYone!

Based on his photo, I'd say my Fred and his basset friends have already found him and are pestering him for belly rubs and treats, so he's too busy to give plane rides right now! Licks and love to those who loved him. So sad...

Khyra and her Mom...we saw those photos on FAcebook last night and think they are all adorable. We hope your Mom has her KHUTE deflector working overtime or she may be a rescue run failure this weekend.
