I know some khommented on the Sheltie Princess in her kharriage...I think she was an elder gal so she was being given the royal treatment. Getting to meet her snooter to snooter, I think she deserved it too!
Some of asked why I didn't pawticipdate in some of the akhtivities - well Mom gets REAL paranoid about me getting away so she errs on the side of safety which deprives me of the fun.

Khyra, I love you in your snuggled up picture. If I were with you I would get right in and snuggle with you. The day you spent with the doggies is amazing. I can't get over all those doggies together. I don't always do well with lots of dogs, I get real nervous. I am happy you had fun.

Well, we've been in the first row when our friends have had to take off after one of your breed and boy, you really have to be in good shape to keep up! You guys are obsessive runners (notthatthereisanythingwrongwiththat) but the fear of losing you or you getting hurt off leash is real. I can see where your momma is coming from.

I am glad I am not the only one with a paranoid mom. Mine is totally afraid to ever let us off leash anyplace without a fence (like we would run away, well, maybe we would).

Don't worry... I'm paranoid as well. Only one of my dogs is allowed off leash at any time outside of our yard. The others (especially one fluffy husky dog) is most CERTAINLY not as he thinks the best game is to have you try to catch him *sigh*
My mom is all about safety too, so we totally understand! We gave the Butters a star on Dogster!
Sounds like Saturday was great! I'd love to see some of those events but, alas, for reasons I don't understand, the videos keep crashing my computer. So, I'll stick with the photos, which are great!

So much to take in. Butters is beautiful still. Almost looks like a puppy in that last pic. And Moon did so well pulling. We think Mom should have let you try that too. Phantom would have done very well at that task. TD was very happy to see his cousin but he thinks his cousin is a bit taller and thinner than his full-bodied self.

Our mums paronoid to so we nots allowed off lead nywears buts on our hill or in the garden, we nots even allowed to go in the bush in case we see somethin to chase and vanish from her. buts if she didnt love us she wouldnt care.
It was freezy cold here this morning! We all had frozen ears of corn (Mom checked). Thanks for sharing all the pics from your fun day. It looks like a blast. I wouldn't get to pawticipate in stuff either. Mom always thinks I'll run away. hehe

Oh Khyra...you must be thrilled...we had a freeze warnin' her in da Burgh last night...frankly, we terriers are ok with it, but it like doesn't make our day like it would yours!!!
You guys look like ya had a blast last weekend!!!! So much fluff...was it windy? Was all that fur blowin' this way? We thought we saw a hooge clump in our yardie that smelled familiar...
As for me and Mary Janes...you hussy, you...you know they reflect up!!! I just went out and bout two pairs...one for each set of paws...with little ruffled white socks with purple bows on each paw...

My Mom doesn't let me go off leash any place that there isn't a fence, either. Dad will if Mom is there to run interference, and there isn't anything else (people, dogs, squirrels, etc.) around.... And yep, it's October!!!

Mom wishes she could attend and bring us to some doggie events but it's kinda hard. I(June) would love to be around and play with other doggies but I am afraid around other humans. So mom is afraid that I will get scared and not have a good time.

Your mom is only paranoid because she loves you so much. The thought of losing you just makes her over-cautious. Despite being leashed, it looks like you had a marvelous day with so many four and two legged friends all together for a common cause. Thanks for sharing.

And yes, it is already October - it got here fast this year I think. But October is the begining of the fun season (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) so that is nice at least!
