It was furry windy in Pawsylvania on Wednesday. This is what Mom enkhountered when she got home from work (EARLY BY THE WAY).

PLUS, some of my prototype skhwirrel khatchers were released BUT it was so windy the little khowards were hiding SOMEWHERE!
******

I went out and waited fur that Baby New YearKhreation to show...but I guess it was too khold fur BNY to make a tour of my neighbourhood!

*******

Since those skhary and nasty fireworks are a part of bringing in the new year, here is a khanine and khat friendly display...please khlikhk H E R E to see the display to mark the start of 2009 in one of the furst cities to formally usher in the new year!

Since Thursday has bekhome my thanking and thinking day, I'll say I've enjoyed sharing my days and nights with all of woo! 2008 was khwite the year fur me! I was part of a rewarding pawsidential khampaign...I was furtunate to be selekhted fur the Awesome Blog Award fur November...I made lots of new furiends...I've helped tutor many students in the Khyraese language! I've also lost some furry good furiends...I won't mention their names bekhause it makes their humans sad but we all know how they missed 'here' but they are waiting fur us 'there'...I do think The Rainbow Bridge has Internet akhcess so they are keeping up with things!

I will be looking forward to more fun with you, and the DWB guys.

Happy New Year!

I would say you sure had a lot of wind! Do you like to play in the leaves? Here in Texas, mom gets worried that some crazy snake or something will be hiding in a leaf pile so she raked them all up.

We just know that 2009 is going to be awesome!

happy new year Khyra! We like your idea about having internet at the bridge. I'm sure Al Gore included that in his plans.

Thank you for being a friend during 2008.

You are a sweetie and I am glad to have met you. I hope you have a great new year with lots of squirrels trapped. I am working on my own traps too. I think johnhooman will help me with some of them. I just need to stop chewing them up.

Take care and lots of fuzz to ya.

Happy New Year again Khyra.

We don't have any trees in my backyear and since I never get to go in the front yard, I don't get to play with leaves. When I get to go to the country, there a plenty of leaves but never in piles like you got. Do you get to jump in them,it looks like fun it would be fun.

I don't like fireworks either. We had a very scary start to 2009. The Mommy is gonna add it to my blog tonight.

Love ya lots...Mona

Happy New Year!! Look at all those leaves, it was like a leaf attack!!! We are looking forward to 2009 too!

Wow, that's one hooge leaf drift! It was very windy, here, all day Wednesday, too! It flattened most of the leaf piles that our mom had piled up in the woods. Now, she will have to start all over again. She isn't sure if it was done by the wind or by 3 wild and crazy Aire-kids!

Hi Khyra!
What were all those leaves doing by the door?! Maybe they were trying to get inside to hide from the wind! I hope the fireworks weren't too scary for you! I can't wait to see what adventures 2009 has in store for all of us!

Those were neat fireworks. For some reason we didn't hear any around here until 1 a.m. Guess some folks must have been on CST instead.

Happy New Year.
