Tuesday Telling

Quite the party going on at The Ledge - and for good reason - it was Rachel Carson's Birthday - and she is one of the MAJOR reasons The PF's - and other raptors - have recovered as they have - and the building in named in her honor!

Just about 6pm - 78 and partly cloudy - and still calling for storms - we did have one hit just before 1am Monday -

Now back to Willow's Saturday - this was the light off Route 30 - and it continues to short cycle - three whole cars make it thru - and as  the previous owner of TWO Alfa's I had to smile -

We did make a stop at BJ's for some gas - price was much better than at Sheetz - and since we were right by it - patiently waiting for our turn at the pump -

Now off to our next stop -

No Benning and no khat wanting us to buy some milk -

We commented on Mad Radish's post about their stand being open on SUNday about missing seeing Benning - Brittany said Willow needs to have a chat with him - he's been wondering too much and ends up on the other side of George Street - I joked  he's channeling his Inner Husky -

Another great CSA stop - and one of the items in our box was for -

Auntie Di - so we had a quick stop to see them - 

Khousin Emmy saluting her flag treat Kerri had sent along for her -

And Willow's specials she left for her to enjoy later -

FINALLY - the last stop of our 'venture day - 

Since our dirt road driving was done - and the rains were to come when The KhrossTrek was parked at The Khottage -

Shower time for Willow's Ride -

She KNEW their was tasty cargo in the back and on the front seat -

Out we go to dry off -

We've just about come full circle - as Dawn's is just ahead on the right -

Parked - and minus the bird kiss on the hood -

Parsnips French Breakfast Radishes Broccolini An Awesome Head of Lettuce - and our Strawberries - we left the other with Auntie Di -

Monday's WFH was a little bit shorter than usual - I logged off just after 4pm - then did a wee bit of weeding - I had noticed some rogue shrubbling on the left side of the house so I pulled it out - and did some more as I made one circle of the 'bed' property - and as posted here yesterday, I did give Willow off for the shift -

Monday MOMSday

From The PF Palace -

Probably later this week  - some of The KidSSSSS may give it a go - usually The Males go first -

I just checked The Palace - just before 9pm - Lord PF is on point - and all the kidSSSSS appear to be tucked in The Nest Box!

Approaching 730pm  - 82 and fair - we never got the storms Saturday night - and had been on the hook for some but -

After leaving Dawn's, Mom did make a quick run into Rutters - for an adult beverage six pack they had done in conjunction with Evil Genius - we'll share later in the week - and then it was off to Kerri's!

In to New Salem - right at the light -

For TREATS!

Addy was there again - we've met her several times before here - she's a Rescue Coonhound - found dumped in a ditch down South - and as you can see, she loves her mom!

We picked out a few extra items for Willow - had to celebrate you know - and got some to take to Khousin Emmy too -

Back in The KhrossTrek - and ready to head to the next stop -

Back to New Salem - so we'll go left -

Once we FINALLY got back to The Khottage - time to capture our June Hazel Box!

The Happy Birthday was for her Gotchaversary - the flag was one Kerri made for the weekend - and if you spent a certain amount you got one - she also sent one along for Emmy - and the Woofle was another Gotchaversary treat - she had one before starting work on SUNday - pics later this week -

Our WFH shift was without incident - and we'll be back at it today - The Payroll has to get thru - we may not work an entire shift but we do a good bit -

Please remember the reason for today - Memorial Day is not to mark the start of Summer - it is to honor those that made the largest sacrifice to our country -

Please think of them today - be it humans or service animals -
