Saturday is here!

Here is the furst time I met THIS feisty little fella!

He just had to say hi straight off! Biloxi!
Biloxi!! Biloxi !!! Khyra Inspekhtion! 'Rhett' Rhesting!

Well, Biloxi had his surgery on Thursday (April 23)...he did furry furry well!

Please go visit his blog and say HELLO! He's on khrate rest fur a week or so - this means he has LOTS of time to read blogs!

He is khwite the special khanine with lots to say AND lots to be thankful fur! His journey to his furever home started out in MISSISSIPPI! The nice Kapp Pakhk pawrents read about him...and even though there was a zillion miles between 'here' and 'there', they got him here! Woo khan find out more of his story by reading his blog!

I got to see him again last fall at The Hike 'N Howl! He was doing sooo well and turning into khwite the gent! He didn't have khwite as much to say to me as he did that July! His Maw and Paw have done khwite the wonderful job on him!

AND Mom khaught this hawk hanging out on one of the furst utility poles just outside the developement. She took these pikhs Thursday AM. She's been travelling with the flashie beast since she's heard there is an eagles' nest less than a mile from where she works. One of the pair has been spotted above The Foundry so she wants to be prepared!

Why do I love blogging?

Well, take a look at my Blogroll thingie down the sidebar of my blog!!! I'm not sure I khan khount that high BUT Mom and I have 250+ blogs khome into our googliereaderiethingie each day.

That is ANOTHER reason I love blogging! It gives my mom and me something to do with forty eight hours of our day each day - BOL!

I mean I khould go on and on but I think all of us that have gotten this award and blogged about it have pretty much said the same things: it is all about the edukhation...the furiendship...the support...the khare...THE LOVE!

After we got home from our walk Tuesday night, it did let loose with rain!

Of khourse I was out in it and Mom went to bring me in and saw one of big white golf khourse birds down the pond...she would have walked khloser to see him/her but she didn't want the magikh flashie beast to get wet.

I know many of woo know my pal Dakota from The OP Pakhk

Her Cushings Disease along with the other side effekhts has been khausing her to have some rought days. We need to khross our paws and wag all of our tails to get some good blogworld vibes going fur her. I know she would appreciate woo stopping by her blog just bekhause!

I will invite her to walk along with me fur this week's Walkin' Wednesday by khlikhing H E R E since her mom hasn't been able to take her as far as she's used to (and wants to) go!

Woo will hear in the video we did rekhord it on Sunday since the weatherwheel was spinning and not SUPPOSED to be stopping on walkin' weather BUT as woo saw in the pikhs above, they fibbed! I will admit it is khlouding up (again) as I put this together before heading out. I did NOT want to miss the opportunity fur this week's walking fun SO when in doubt, 'film' early!

AND as woo will see by the pikhs we added after we returned, good thing!

I'm supposed to share ten honest things about myself...

Here goes with a twist...I'll let Mom answer some of them too!

1) Mom's sekhond dog was a schnauzer named Fluffy...the furst one was blakhk dakhshound named Frankie...we haven't stumbled onto any photos of him that she khan skhan in...the pikh above Fluffy was my furst day 'here'
2) My mom's high skhhool senior pikhture (psssss, it was taken on her 17th birthday in 1976 so it khould be in her 1977 yearbook)...she was the kho-editor of the yearbook and editor-in-chief of the newpaper aka The Prowler.

3) I like to nap AND look khute...and she khan't stop taking pikhs of me !
*4) I love sitting out in the rain...evidenced by my Monday afternoon...

5) I love my tree...and my floofy tail!

6) I love watching fur 'things' -

7) Mom says if she had to choose her three favourite artists (male, female, group) it would be Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, and Uncle Tupelo.

8) Mom is known to enjoy adult beverages...with red and white adult grape juice being her favourites BUT Vodka - no not THIS VODKA - is her sekhond favourite.

9) I'm not always a khuddly snuggly pup BUT I am extremely khyssy...and I'm usually within a few feet of her.

10) I'm furry furry happy I blog! But more about that on Thursday!

Look...it is the Blue Bird of Happiness!
He/she was in MY tree last evening! At one point he/she swooped down outside the window but Mom wasn't khwikhk enought with the khamera. Sorry these won't bigify...Mom has yet to figure out why some will and some won't...she doesn't do anything 'diffurently' when posting them!

Mom said to thank evfurryone fur their kind words about her transports. Due to our cirkhumstances right now, I'll need to be an only khanine but this way we khan help other pups! Mom has already volunteered fur a leg this khoming weekend...she hopes this transport gets filled fur she's seen pikhs of the three pawtential passengers! Khute is not just enough of word to deskhribe them!
