I bagged the Thursday PM vacuuming - as I was a bit full from dinner - and tired from a partially restless Wednesday night of sleep -

The 'venture wheel is still spinning for today - with a FULL day on The List for Saturday, today may be a stay at home 'venture - I've got multiple foodables backed up in the frig - so there is no rea$on to $pend - but we WILL do BreakfastWithBobTheKhat tomorrow before heading to MadRadish for our CSA box -

Thursday Thinking

Weather like this made me happy we did the AC thing yesterday - the common words from all at The GKP is that is too hot - 87 and SUNny now at 715pm -

Since I've taken to stopping at PlantBoxCo on my way to The GKP on 'my FrEYEday' - here was last week's selection - and my favorite so far - Florida Greens - Spinach&Artichoke Dip, provolone, spinach on the everything bagel - it was so good it MIGHT be my choice for July 6 -

ChocolatePeanutButter Bars - one for Crystal and one for me -

The S'mores cookie - again, one for Crystal and one for me - both items were SO yummy!

Last weekend's beets - roasting -

The finished product - a FoodNetwork recipe gave me the loose idea/guideline - and they are nice - Willow likes 'em too -

Watchin' & Workin' Wednesday

And I thought Monday's rain at work was intense - THIS rivaled that - and that's why I checked the radar on my phone -

AND let the records reflect: The Magic KhoolAir Machine went on shortly before 7pm Tuesday - as well as surviving the step stool to open the ceiling vents to PAWmit it to come out of the attic/crawlspace - I was dripping and I knew the already challenging sleep would REALLY evade me - and it took over 1-1/2 hours to get it to the 80 I have it set at - as it was close to 90 on the thermostat -

AND SINCE SHE WAS CHOSEN EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH FOR JUNE, I GAVE HER TUESDAY OFF - SHE SPENT MOST OF IT WATCHING HER WORLD FROM THE FRONT DOOR VIEW - but she did snooze too!

We did participate in the Sheetz Patriotic Fuel Price - all grades were 1.776 - and luckily for us - with our Sheetz just across the backyard - we were there 715ish - and only waited ten or so minutes - but the posts I've seen make me realize we were fortunate!  I was at the half tank level but with gas having been stuck on 3.699 for WEEKS - why not - 9.076 gallons for 15.85 - and I even got three more cents off with my Sheetz card - 

I did happen to notice Willow hijacked the laptop and snagged some 25% off chew treats from ThePetGourmet - and being the kind Wiggles she is, she got some for Khousin Emmy too -

74 now at 745pm - Monday afternoon I asked my officemate if that was rain?  She agreed it sounded like it - so went to a nearby door and OH MY DOG!  I don't think I've seen it rain harder in my life!

After leaving Bob, we went a half mile or so North and hit one of the local Rutters for some iced teas - I took this picture as we waited at the light to turn left - and head back to The Khottage - we love the small town feel of Manchester!
