Your daily shot of PF stuff!
AND some ME!
I helped Mom warm up the flashie beastie prior to her hitting the road
*
*
Okay Mom - good to go!Thanks Khyra!
*
I knew it was going to be a good day when this vehicle yielded to permit me to enter the interstate - too bad I didn't have Boo with me yet so I could send her along to Sadie's Mommy - Sadie said her mommy was quite taken by Boo's pics!
*
Ken in Hagerstown - he was enjoying just watching the world
As did Jack
Sorry I cut off part of Boo's face - I think her eyes show forgiveness!
As I framed the shot, some pup moved -
We stashed their luggage in the crate and let them sprawl out for the ride to Harrisburg
Boo had already perfected the art of paw khrossing
The Red Buds were quite the sight in PA and MD - these were in MD -
The first of our YELLOW for MURRAY - and actually, this would also be for Murray's Dad since he is one of those golf fanciers!
Boo and Ken were almost Siamese Pups -
*
PAWSylvania welcomed them!!!
Our next YELLOW for MURRAY - and you can't quite see it but the Florida plate on the truck said VPR HLR - how clever!
Snoooooozy time!
Same in the shotgun spot too!
Still snoooooozin'
This was in Harrisburg -
Same here!
He was a true joy to transport - as you'll hear in the videos, I had called him JJ - one of the run sheets had called him Jake - and then he was Jack - his transport tag did read Jack -
Boo and Ken in the cul-de-sac at The EarthLink meeting spot
Photographing a Basset is SURELY a challenge - as you'll see in the Photobucket Album, I got very few full body shots -I was always missing some portion of him - the L-O-N-G body and L-O-N-G tail were a hoot!
She was a natural!
See!
He really wanted to drive to Allentown but I convinced him to rest up in the passenger seat
We took the crate door off this large one so Ken snuggled in there for the start - Peggy was sitting nearby with Boo since Jack was in the front passenger seat with Mike doing the chauffeuring!
This week's Harrisburg shot
Another YELLOW for MURRAY - I had this behind me as we came across the bridge - I was happy when it was able to pass me so I could get a shot of it!
A bit nicer than it was on the AM portion of the trip!
I saw this YELLOW for MURRAY on the AM portion - and grabbed a shot as I passed it on the return trip
Mission Accomplished!!! I can confirm what all the drivers from Saturday had shared - these three were true sweeties!
As you'll see and hear in the Photobucket, the leg was in honour of Nikki and her furever family The Nelsons - and for Fred The Bloodhound who was taken by The Evil Seizure Monster late Saturday night - as I said in the video, it was a bittersweet dedication - but all part of having a pet in your life - there will always be sad with the happy -
Here is the link to the Photobucket - lots and lots of pictures AND five videos -
I'm hopeful we'll receive some pictures of the happy families - I'll let Khyra share them here this week!
SO, once again, we've got proof of how RESCUES ROCK!
Thanks to all that made it happen!
There are LOTS more pics on The Rotts 'n Pups FB page - we suggest you head on over and check them out!
Khyra will back in KHONTROL here tomorrow!
