Lord  PF was waiting -

Evening -

Heading to 630pm - 52 - SUNny - and still a bit breezy - and a coaster ahead next week -

When I went in  Otaka - greeted by a nice Linda - I asked later where she was from - she said Indonesia - she said sit where you would like - I chose one of my longterm BobTheKhat tables - by the window -

I liked the color scheme chosen - 

I had a very nice hot Green Tea -

The ice cream case and counter was now the Sushi prep and hibachi area -

I started with the Seafood Soup -

Shrimp Scallop Fish  Mussels - in a clam broth - very nice - and I drank every drop of the broth-

They offer a nice selection  of items for their lunch special but I decided to choose two benchmark standards and added one unique to therir place -

The Mt Wolf Roll - Tuna Salmon Whitefish Avocado Crispy Onions Plum Sauce - and a definite good one!

Had ordered dinner for later when I selected lunch -

The BREEZE made the payment a challenge -

She said she knew we would be back again  soon - maybe even next week -

My Donburi - Vegetable Fried Rice - had a taste then - and heading to have it for Saturday night's meal - and it was quite tasty and filled with all the good stuffs - and will be a great lunch or dinner later today -

Paid The Veggie Vulture Back To The Khottage Tax with some broccoli -

Sushi Slumber time -

FrEYEday evening's challenge of tomorrow had better be fun AND include seeing Auntie Di and Khousin Emmy - no worries -it did!

Otaka had openied a few months ago - I tend to let new places work out the start up kinks before going - and from the start, the comments on the local neighborhood FB group was quite complimentary regarding the food - and having been there, I can see why - the staff was friendly - welcoming - efficient - and there was quite the foot traffic thru whilst I was there - both for dine-in & pick up - it will become a regular for me -

Willow should be able to give a favorable report on her Saturday - we'll see!
