A serious SUNday sharing -
Saturday morning PF breakfast -
No PF but I liked the colors -
Saturday evening -
Even Lady PF was bowing her head -
We had some seriously special SUNrise and SUNsets a few days ago -
This was incredible as the skEYE appeared to pull a blanket over the hills -
Multiple shots for the BlackBerry was choosing different settings -
My Facebook feed gave a hint at the reason - a long time blog pal - so long I can't begin to recall how long we had 'known' each other - and her Rhodesian Ridgeback Sheba - had been killed in an accident in Niger -
In searching for pictures and such to share on this post, I found this one on Esther's blog - one of the comments on the post was quite telling - and hopefully prophetic for Esther -

Aww, Esther, this is such a sweet picture! I think there will be dogs in heaven.
Who would have thought when Esther shared this picture of Baghera - who got his wings on August 01, 2015 that Esther would just a few days later get hers -
She loved not only horses - but dogs - and people - and family - and life - and love - and TRYING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE - which she and her family did -
Esther spent much of her time in Niger - bringing hope and love to those she touched - along with her family's EDEN FOUNDATION -
As I tried to gather material in an attempt to pay Esther a tribute - albeit a small one - I found THIS BLOG POST which shares more about her - it also includes links to her FB page and to the EDEN FOUNDATION - her work is evidenced by the smiles in the shot of her surrounded by some of her "kids" from Niger -
Yep, still stunned - it will be sad not to have her FB messages - especially the greetings Sheba and she would send for our birthday/gotcha days - so very wrong to lose someone so determined to make a difference -
She did leave this world a better place - all of us can only hope to have an impact like Esther did -
Please make sure to hug someone today!

BTW, Khyra will probably have something to say about how I went to The GKP for half a shift today - she should know that I'll do what I can to make it up to her!

We were shocked when we saw your post on FB about Esther's death. We loved her blog, such beautiful pictures of animals, people, smiles and scenery. It's sad she died so young, but she seems to have lived a full life and made a difference in that time.
How very sad!!! We used to follow Esther's blog many years ago. She always had gorgeous photos. Soft woos and gentle hugs to her family.

I took a moment to read about Ester. So many people doing so many amazing things. In facing my own struggles with an illness that is so politically charged, I sometimes lose hope in humanity. It's people like Ester that make me feel there is balance in the world. Thanks for sharing her information with us.
