The first day of Autumn was surely challenging - we had thunderstorms roll in Saturday night - the power came went came went four or five times at 12mn - rain - wind - RAIN - hail - and the news said they were ping pong ball sized here in Manchester - no wonder it sounded like gun shots hitting the windows - a certain Heeler was velcroed to me in bed - although she eventually moved to one of the beds on the floor - power came back on 640am - no signs of damage at The Khottage - did our Sheetz run for the newspapers - some of The MetEd crews were there - I complimented them - calling them our heroes - got logged on after 8am - and then by 930, The Gerbils stopped again - restoration expected by 1130am so off I went to The GKP - worked there until mid afternoon - and had some confirmations from the some of the folks in the neighborhood that is was back on - and staying on after several more on offs on offs on offs - I had hated to leave Willow with everything all quiet here - and she did take herself to the tub at some point judging by the telltale shower curtain placement -
Judging by the pictures from Facebook, we were VERY lucky - and some aren't expecting their power back until sometime later today -
Happy Monday EvFURRYone!

Your hail storm sounds like ours a couple of weeks back. Not fun at all!
Look at all those yummy desserts. Enough to last the week. It was a soup day here so that chicken bowl would have hit the spot. Sorry about the nasty weather. We are glad Willow has her safe spot.
Woos - Misty and Timber
That soup looks super yummy
