Tuesday Telling

From The PF Palace -

Yes - heating - 'nuf said -
From my furst visit to Auntie Di's last week - to see Khousin E and the homecoming of Auntie Di -
The STELLA;s are starting to bloom -
And the Irises are done for now -
Some of the free range pansies!
SUNday night's HIA passenger pick up - survivor of TWO full flights -
She wanted to buy me dinner as a way of thanking me for collecting her - in all the years we've lived here in York - since 1972 - I had never eaten at Culhanes - yet I pass it each time I take I83 North - it is one of those throwbacks to a kindler gentler time - it was very nice - and had a steady stream of patrons - even though it was a holiday weekend -
The egg rolls and the dumplings both spoke to me - I chose the edamame dumplings - WIN!
I went back and forth MULTIPLE times for a main course - knowing much of it would be going back to The Khottage due to having had an appetizer - shrimp scampi won my fork - and I ate a little there - and a bit more Monday night - and there is still a wee bit left -
TNNL had a very nice looking crabcake!
Now for a few shots of WILLOW - this was last Wednesday -
As was this -
These next shots are from WoozyWillow day - when she finally left the spot in the kitchen, she wobbled out to here -
and here -
and here -
and to check on her street - this was the return to more resting -

It was a quiet day at The GKP - all the other businesses I passed as I cut thru the industrial area on the way in were closed - even UPS - but not us - but I did get a great deal done, so it was a win!

Happy ALMOST June EvFURRYone!

Monday MOMday

From The PF Palace -

Red!
It was nice but the hoomids were returning -
Now for more of our Saturday 'venture thru town so we could hit BJs - then off to Auntie Di's and Khousin E's -

Khousin E's caretake - their neighbor Ashley - who used to cut The Khottage lawn but her work schedule wouldn't allow this year - Auntie Di had been in the hospital for some days to a rash issue - which turned out to be Amoxycillan Mono related - if you google that, you'll know exactly was Auntie Di's skin looked like -

This is Khousin Emmy being all excited the night we told her MAMA WAS COMING HOME -
We had done picked up her laundry - and did it - and returned it to her -
I didn't get to capture any Willow and Emmy shots but they did well together - so we'll have to have some more khousin time soon -

There is an American Legion location near Auntie Di - we felt it would be a good honor and memory for what Decoration Day - MEMORIAL DAY stands for -

And a Willow picture - just because!

We had a productive work shift - and when it wrapped, I went to HIA for TNNL - it worked out well for she left Chicago late - crew issues - so I had pretty much just hit the cell lot when she said she was on the ground - and then, she updated to out for pickup!

We stopped for a yummy dinner - she shared stories of her time in CO, HI, and back to CO - I 'may' have pictures of my meal :-)

Happy Monday EvFURRYone!

SUNday Sharing

After getting up so early on FrEYEday, we slept in a bit -

Sadly, The Gang Of Four is now three :-(  The latest post on Falcon Wire -
5/28/2022  ::   Update from the ledge
Today saw the fledging of the young falcon banded Blue at 10:47 am. A scant two hours later, Blue, while attempting to land on the 15th floor ledge of the Rachel Carson State Office Building (RCSOB), flew into the side of the RCSOB and perished. As unwanted as this outcome is, it is important to remember that the mortality rate for young falcons is about 60%. This means that approximately 6 out of every 10 falcons hatched will die in its first year of life. Due to the dedication of the Falcon Watch and Rescue Volunteers the actual first year mortality at the RCSOB is quite low which explains why this nest site is the most productive within the Commonwealth.

You can see it was 9:40something for us -
'Vemture time!
AND so nice to have WILLOW back!
Off to White Clover Farm we went -
So many nice - and tempting plants -

Back to Route 462 - aka Old Route 30 - which goes all the way across the country!
I stopped at Roast Up for a coffee - I had suprisingly seen the owners when I left at MyGiant on Thursday - and told them I would be in today -

Like last week, I decided to continue on 'Market Street' back thru town to hit our next stops - I will share THAT here tomorrow -
After completing the other errands on our ROTE, it was back to The Khottage - here are my foodables - there HAD been TWO containers of strawberries but I left them with one of our stops - aka Auntie Di and Khousin E's!
I got the last bag of bagels at WCF - and made this EVERYTHING one - with butter - my Saturday main khourse -

AND yes, Willow was rewarded for her return - and devotion - with some bagel bites -

Sadly, today marks the return to The GKP - although it is The Khottage satellite khampus - and I've offered to pick up The Nice Nancy Lady at HIA in the late afternoon -

On our way back from Auntie Di and Khousin E's, I went past TNNL's house and took a picture for her
Sent her a text with 'see you tomorrow' - I figured after being in Colorado, Hawaii, and back to Colorado, she might wonder how the house was doing without her - she was glad to see it was okay - and could tell we were having nice weather!

The two of us will probably stop and have dinner on the way back from HIA -

Happy SUNday EvFURRYone!
