More GOLDEN thoughts fur Laska...
an additional bloom has opened...
...and some of the other GOLDEN flowers surrounding it... Our GOLDEN furiend SAMMIE in Khalifornia even inkhluded a khupkhake from her pawty fur Laska!
I think he'll be able to have dessert befur he eats his dinner!!!
Today is the day Sam was to have an organised search fur Laska...please think pawsitively!

She followed me around with the flashie beast...
I decided in front of the fireplace would work today...
If it had been a bit lighter in the room, she would have videoed me nosing the kharpet to khover it (she used Night Portrait to get these pics)!
So?!?! Mom is taking the Xterra to Hagerstown to fetch THESE KHUTIES . Akhtually, the puppies are khoming North this weekend and their momma is expekhted to head North in a few weeks. On the road 'as we woof' right now. She won't be getting any video of them enjoying a walk/etc fur they are young and to be kept in their khrates to minimise the exposure to any nastiness along the way. The transport also inkhludes a year old retriever mix named Waldo (aka FUZZY WUZZY). Mom will share some pikhs on Monday. Mom is being lazy right now. It has been khwite a long emotionally draining week. We are still trying to get through the blogs. We've made some progress in the past days. Again, we might not get the chance to khomment but we reading them.

PeeEssWoo: Since I'm a yappy barker and not a howler, I khouldn't pawticipate in Mason Dixie's HOWLIN' FUR DAKOTA but I'll post this one fur the khause. As I shared the other day, I did get to share a REAL sound with her...and not my snappy bark. Sometime Mom says she'll try to khapture it(my bark). Summii's Mummii has heard it and it surely 'memorable' - HA!

It's taken months for some of our AWOL goldens... rescues are so independent and so smart... they are proned to outsmart their own best interests... but they also know a good thing once they finally experience it!

That is a very nice post and I know that your Mom isn't lazy, she is probably very tired. It has been quite a week for some of the Moms especially yours. We are having happy thoughts for you right now. I do like to howl and if Mom can ever figure out how to put a video on here(she is kind of slow with learning stuff) she will post it and you will be surprise how loud I am. I can't wait to hear your voice. I am doing a private howl for Dakota and I am wearing a bright yellow scarf with flowers for Laska.

Hello Khyra, Mum went and looked at the tribte to Dakota, realy nice. Lets hope that sweet Dakota will help get the sweet Laska home safe.

yep, I think today just might be the day...
We all have our own "noise". Cheoah's is, of course, the patented whine, which is what she is doing at our hu-dad right now saying he should be paying attention to her and not doing comments. If he doesn't respond soon, the whine crescendoes into a howl, so he had better hurry.
It's funny how some of us can bark, others can bark and howl... Byron can do both things, but he only howls when an ambulance or police siren is heard...
Anyway, any display of afection for Dakota is welcome.
