Thursday Thinking AND Thanking

Some more from the end of our walk to France and The WOO-K

 ******
Now fur some of Penny - as promised by Mom on Monday - a few of the exchanges from the founder of RnP and Penny's mom
OMG Phyll...you are so awesome for sharing this Photobucket of Gwynneth's transport.  I tried to find pics of her when we first got her from Gwynnett Co. AC but I think they are on my work computer.  She looked so pitiful (as most bait dogs dog).  I was surprised that she lived.  And seeing her now with her new mommy and daddy really reinforces why we do what we do in rescue and why we are so grateful to everyone involved in the effort b/c it really is a team effort.

And Sam, thanks for sharing the pics of Penny (Gwynneth).  I think most of us females on this list would like to know the name of the color that you painted her nails with.  It's totally stunning and SO her!

AND HERE IS WHAT PENNY'S MOM REPLIED:

Funny you ask! That particular color is Mark's (Penny's dad) favorite color! ;) he actually loves it when I paint her nails. A lot of people are afraid of her (being a rottie) so when they see her nails are painted they quickly change their minds. It's neon pink so it really stands out against her black toes :) She loves it as well because it's 15 minutes of me telling her how pretty and perfect she is, she even holds still and holds her paws up for me. I should take a video of it, it's hilarious.

I will never be able to repay all of you who helped in the rescue of my angel. To say that she is the love of my life is an understatement. We are inseparable. She's the best thing that ever happened to me.

So much love,

Sam and Penny (Gwyn the bait dog)

Happy Thursday EvFURRYone!

We are so sorry that Penny had a horrible start in life. But we are so glad that she has found a great forever home.
