Tuesday Telling

Tuesday Telling Time Again! We've tried to inkhlude this tree pikh many times befur but always managed to delete it as we were adding text/etc (grrrrrrrrrr) BUT we've made it today's lead pikh!

We had soooooo much good and promising news ovfur the past day or two!

We had the inkhredibly pawesome moment fur Miss Snikhkers (and all the others needing our pawsitive energies).

THAT was such a sukhcess that Fergi and Jake have suggested it bekhome an annual event! Please chekhk out THEIR MONDAY POST!

In khase woo haven't seen it yet, please chekhk out Max's news from Monday

As I get ready to put the finishing touches on this post, I saw Asta's post on FB shared some promising news fur Miss Snikhkers too and then my two sweet furiends Hershey and Kaci left a khomment Monday evening about what they had read on Miss Snikhkers Blog (Butchy pawed an update)!

Sadly, sometimes bad news is a part of life. Just prior to my blog posting (12mn), Dakota's mom wrote the khrazy SMS members to say they had let Dakota khross.

I'm sure the Leonids Meteor Showers were even more special with her special spirit streaking khross the sky on her way to The Rainbow Bridge.

I feel even more honoured to have met her in Gettysburg!

******

Yes, SHE IS BAKHK!
MonAmMerdie
Just bein' Merdie (I furgot Khyra's Mom always has that flashie beastie going)(Thinking she'll go away)
****** I spent khwite a bit of time out in the yard Sunday afternoon thinking of our furiendsSo many furry furiends and hoomans needing our healing helping wishes and thoughts So many...too many I know Mom! I KNOW! Looking to the westThinkingHoping fur some help from above fur all that need it in these diffikhult times

I'll keep my eyes open fur updates and share what I see as I see it!

Please khome bakhk tomorrow fur Walkin' Wednesday!

Hugz&Khysses,

Khyra and Merdie

PeeEssWoo: Unkhle Paul says thanks fur the wishes and khoncerns...he khontinues to rekhover with each new day being better than the one befure! He's taking it day by day!

There has definitely been a long run of sad news in the dog blog world. Thanks for giving all of us something to smile about today.

Now tell me - are there any leaves left on that tree now?

Yes, a lot of sadness, but your healing help is so important.

And cool clothes you're wearing.

So sorry for the loss of your friend Dakota, Khyra. It has been so sad in the blog word recently.. but your posts always make us smile. :)

(My comment sounds so much like Life With Dogs' comment, but I guess they just said it best!)

Hi Khyra! #1 and I saw a shooting star at the very time we were thinking of Snickers last week! It was awesome.

It is sad that there cannot be good news all around, but we are thankful for the friends who are doing better. And so very happy to see those great pics of you and of Merdie!

At least there is some good news with Max's report and Miss Snickers doing a bit better, but we were so sad to hear about Dakota of the East. Our deepest sympathy to her Mom and family.

We are very happy to see Merdie and Uncle Paul have made their way back to your place. We know you and your Mom will take such good care of them.

You're such a good supporter for all of your cyber friends. I can tell a good and giving person from many miles away.

I'm glad that Unkle Paulie is starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. It's tough - but he'll be back before he even knows it!

I'm also glad that Khyra has her friend Merdie there! My dogs love having each other plus any friendly visitors, furry or otherwise. It makes them so happy!

Hi there Khyra!

So glad to see Merdie once more! Weeeeee

There has been so much going around --- both good news and not so good news. Thanks to you for we have been part of the prayer offerings for Ms Snickers. We could not help but feel the love as well. It would be great to have prayer moments to spread more good vibes. Nothing beats the power of prayers.

So happy also about Maxdog! We hope that he gets back on his paws and be well. Weeee Although we also pray for Maxdog's Mom's mommy.

We continue to pray and we have special intentions for your Uncle Paul. Do thing nurse Merdie is there to look after him.

Lastly, we're so sorry for Dakota's crossing the rainbow bridge. We wish her to run free without pain.

Your crossed paws photos are so beautiful! Princess loves that pose and now Mocha is doing it as well. Weeeee

Sorry about Dakota... WE have a new angel....
I have good news.. Bambi will not have to have her rabies shot!!!!!!
The vet says she will get an exemption from the shot!!! Because of her age and because of the severe reaction she had last time!! He said a shot would probably kill her. So she does not have to go through that again!!!!

We are sobered by Dakota's news but gladdened by Max and Snicker's news.

PS: I love seeing the pics of you under Your Tree while seasons change.

What a beautiful tree! I guess even as autumn turns to winter and the trees shed their beautiful leaves, the circle of life and death takes place. What is more important is it was a live well lived. Whilst I don't know Dakota, I'm sure she brought much joy to her humans during her time here on earth.

Thanks for sharing the updates. We'll never eliminate the sadness of one of us crossing but we can send healing and comfort to those who need our love. In that way we can add to the joy in the world...as you and your mom do in so many ways!

Sorry to hear about your friend, Dakota's, crossing. Know she is happy and painfree and waiting for the rest of us on the other side.

How BEAUTIFUL that tree is! We former easterners, having transplanted ourselves 40 years ago out west, are still missing those colors!!! Thanks for posting. We will hop on over to those blogs with all that news. And Khyra (and Merdie too) - keep searching and looking - that's what we're doing over here too. Such a wise girl.

I don't know the extent of your connections but I suspect it's pretty far. Can someone help this dog. It's going to have to be very special people. I'm just a rescuer who read a story about a dog that touched my heart. You can read her story here under "Constrained":

I met a broken dog last week, and I could not take her home.

Mia is currently available for adoption at Good Karma rescue in Montpelier, Vermont. Her online profile is here. I rarely ask anything of our readers, but I implore you to retweet this story, share it on Facebook or anywhere dog lovers congregate. Help this girl find her forever home.
