Thursday Thinking

1/19/2022  ::   Nesting Update

Longtime falcon volunteer Sue Hannon shares some additional information on specific nest sites with a Rachel Carson State Office Building (RCSOB) connection:

Records indicate that the female banded Yellow 75/Y at the nest located near Monaca, PA, was banded at the RCSOB in 2006. In Wilmington, DE another female banded at the RCSOB in 2008 nests in this urban area and produced a female that is now nesting on a Philadelphia area bridge. Many thanks to Sue for providing this information from her extensive notes and confirming the continued contribution the RCSOB nest site has had on the peregrine falcon population in Pennsylvania.

THIS WAS POSTED ON THE LATEST FALCON WIRE POST!

Break out the shorts!  Oh well, for Wednesday afternoon -
Now for some of the heavy duty Red Heeler thinking...

And yes, Willow!
The weekend will be here furry soon - and so will the new mattress and boxspring!

Charlee: "That's just the temperature line for a single day."
Lulu: "Never mind!"
