FrEYEday SkEYEday Free Fur All

Here is the latest on Syren - I'll let Mom paw it again!
Thanks Khyra - first of all THANK YOU EVERYONE for the great ideas and suggestions and support and offers for some ga$ dollar$ - here is the latest on Syren's status - of course, it changed several times on Thursday BUT here is the latest

The contact from the shelter had called saying Macy had to get out - and get out NOW - that woman was only following the orders of the man in charge there - he felt they had been more than fair to her - WELL, the very nice woman at the shelter had made contact with the Athens Dog Pound volunteers - and they started making calls - they were able to find someone in the Huntsville area that will allow Macy to stay with her until the details for driving can be worked out - this woman is familiar with the breed and has her own Sibes and Malamutes and more - SO one of the Athens volunteers will pull Macy today - and drive her to her temporary foster - THEN a friend of MacySyren in Tennessee will get her on Tuesday April 19th - and drive her to Bristol VA where Syren will meet her new human for the drive back to PA!

I mentioned it had changed throughout the day - well, the original plan was to make the drive on Tuesday April 12th - but it is now set for April 19th to allow for some more ga$ to be pulled together -

I also appreciate everyone's understanding about what an emotional situation this is - especially when Banshey's mortality is factored into this incredible rescue - Khyra is pretending she's Syren watching her new world
Resting for all that awaited her!

******
In another case of full circle and closure, Echo and Meeka's mom decided to close Echo's Blog - but she's made one last post - a special tribute to Meeka and Echo - PLEASE GO VISIT AND READ THE INCREDIBLE TRIBUTE TO THEM - and to rescues - and how we can all honour those not physically with us anymore
Of course, Khyra asked me to pass along her latest froggeh for Norwood - this was on a catalogue received here -
Thursday AM's sky
As I headed to work
Kind of cool!
From Thursday's after work walk - still not there yet but closer!
Tuesday's evening sky
We had some very incredible cloud combos
I did this in panorama style!

Again, although I hate to mention it, if anyone would like to kick in a few dollars for Syren's roadtrip from AL to PA, please email me - I'll give you our address and/or my PayPal info - I had indicated to those that had offered I wanted to wait and see how it all worked out BUT since it looks to be a GO...

Once more, The Power of The Paw comes through - and the village did it!
