Mom was clearly not listening. Yes, you wanted to go outside. But you wanted her to cool things down. We give the hu-dad the look all of the time asking him when he is going to fix our weather.
P.S. - Our ski resort is installing lots and lots of new snow guns this week. We are dreaming of very good things.

Whew... that flower saved me from getting in trouble. Mom's very careful about what I sees on the interwebs! I hear your distress about not getting much playtime outside with this heat! We got mom up at 6 on her work at home day so we could run around out there before it gets hot again. She had mixed feelings about the early wakeup call!

It is very hot here too, mom said it gots up to 98 degrees here yesterday! Us puppies in the northeast are not use to this kind of weathers.

(Again - so sawries that we are so latesky in visiting - little puppy paws can still be demanding - ma gets up a post finally, and intends on commenting, gets one or two done and whoopf - off on a walkie again...) I do adore this post of you, Khyra/Whitney - looking wild and wicked - and the "drawing" photos are super!
But my personal fave is the flower one heehee! Good one! I don't know how you ever stood it for one minute under your tree - I'd have poked my head out and back in again I'd have marched,woofing "order me a pool today, please."

Hey on a different note - can you let your doggie friends know we have a post about a doggie who needs a home at my blog. The reason makes me angry because to me it is just bad parenting causing it (both to the dog and the child involved) but to me that is a reason to try and help this dog find a good home. I told my aunt I would post about it and her response was that she didn't know if it would help because she didn't know how long they had - which also makes me want to help more because of the way they are treating the poor doggie involved.
