Monday MOMday

This khamp khounselor thing khan wear out a Siberian
although it looks like the Goldens were tired as well

Even The Kid!

We had lots of fun - of khourse, the flashie beast khaptured it - and I'll share throughout the week!

It's time to let Mom take over the keyboard - but furst, I wanted to share who we dedikhated Sunday's transport to Butchy From Ioway - as Gussie khalls it - akhtually, Mom and I travelled through his part of the state as we headed to visit Summiiii after leaving Princess Eva and Brice The Handsome - as my blog pals know, Butchy has been visited too often by The Evil Seizure Monster - and now we know what has been khausing these visits - The Even MORE Evil Cancer Monster - a monster that takes too many good humans and furiends way too soon - just last Sunday my neighbour Sammy and Cody lost one of their humans - and she was only 59 years old - not to mention how she suffered fur two years with the brain type - sadly, it was the furst time the family had been touched by The Evil C - and since we learned from her obituary tribute, she was born in Des Moines IOWAY -

Another reason to do the transport fur Butchy is to spread the word about the pawesome aukhtion our pals Gussie and Teka Toy are doing fur Butchy - inkhluding one furry special item - perhaps woo've met this khanine?

I'll turn it ovFUR to Mom now - I told her that since there are SOOOOOO many pikhtures and videos in the Photobukhket, she shouldn't use TOOOOOO many of them here - part of the reason is that she ran into two other transports - inkhluding the one she would have driven had she not been khommitted to The Last Resort Rescue's leg - she was khwite happy to see Piper and Luna Belle - she had wanted furry much to meet them - Piper was to have been in The Xterra LAST Sunday - and Luna Belle took a liking to Mom and velkhroed herself to Mom's leg! Thanks Khyra! The customary shots *All the gorgeous blooms are gone from this locust tree - I had to laugh after I took this picture - two of the McDonald's personnel asked if I was there to get some dogs - they both commented how they enjoyed seeing those that come through there!I had to laugh seeing this as we exited the shopping center - I know I've shared a Wolf Bus before when I left the Trexlertown-Allentown area transports - it was a wolf kind of day in that I had passed a license plate that read WLD WLF - I couldn't snap it as it was just entering the interstate - more about license plates on TuesdaySay hi to Harry - he was listed as Retriever X - I'd say so - I would go with Golden and Labradork - he was an energetic fella - he did so well with Kelby and The Kids - although he did have a wee bad habit of chewing on the towels in the back of The Xterra - I had to smile in saying his name for a close friend of mine had a very special Uncle Harry - Pawsylvania just ahead!Kelby liked to watch the trafficHarry's Doga move She was so sweet - and did a fine job keeping an eye on her luggage!I couldn't entice either of them to ride shotgun - Kelby had started there in Hagerstown but she went back to be with The PupsMr InnocentI think the paw is hiding a portion he had chewedShe was watching the life on a chain she had left behind - Thankful to all that had gotten her AND her pups away from such a thing *It was quite hazy from the humidity - you'll see more of that in the PhotobucketAt the light when we exited Interstate 81and THAT is when he decided to ride shotgun - sorry it is a bit blurry Almost to the magic building! The next driver was doing his first transport -and he was actually doing three legs' worth - as he was taking the passengers all the way to their end stop - when we talked Sunday morning, he shared he had just discovered The Last Resort Rescue last weekend! The Husky on his vehicle is from his daughter's college Meet Luna Belle - you only see this much because she always wanted to be right on me - I took her leash in Harrisburg to help Renee and Don as they were taking care of Piper and Five Cute Pups of their own!FROOTBATS!She was a doll - and she's home now - in fact, as I was putting the post together, Mary sent pics of her and Piper meeting their new humans! The pics are in the Photobucket - and I'll share them on the blog later this week - The beaWOOtiful Piper - she's a RottiGSD girl - and she's home now too!Harrisburg - as usualCity Island Back I goOne last lightMission Accomplished!

Another wonderful trip to Merryland and back - passed some interesting sights - and we'll share as the week progresses - I did pass another interesting transport but couldn't get the camera on in time - it was a truckload of BEES! - a complete flatbed stacked with multiple boxes of bees - it was quite cool to see -

As Khyra pawed above, LOTS of pics and videos to enjoy - once I let Mary know I had seen her transports pups, she said she'd send along the pics she had - so they are included - as well as some videos!

Here is the album link and here is the slideshow only link

So many happy paws and tails that confirmed what we all know

RESCUES ROCK!!!

hey Khyra,

You must have had a busy time at camp to be so worn out! And to have worn out your cousins! Very cute pics!

Another amazing rescue by your amazing mom! Love the "fruitbat" ears! What a beauty Luna Belle is, as were all the pups on the transport! Their personalities always seem to shine through from your mom's excellent photos. :->

We are so sad about Butchy's cancer. And sorry to read of your neighbor. Very sad. Our paws are crossed that Butchy can beat that nasty cancer-monster. Lots of prayers and healing thoughts for Butchy!

It looks like Kamp Khyra is a huge success. We have two Labs signed up for the next session.

What an amazing crew of pups you helped. Thank you so very much from all of us dog lovers.

And, a very poignant dedication.

Always fun to see the passengers. And Camp Khyra campers.

It is terrible about Butchy. We know his family is having a hard time with the news!

The love that I see in those furry faces just touches my heart. Thank to your mom Khyra and the many others who help.
Someone dumped another dog at my house,, and it always makes me think,, of if only people would do the right thing,, instead of dumping.
So much sadness in bloggy land again and now,,
Thanks again Khyra

Those awful brain tumor things seem to be cropping up everywhere. There are TWO humans at momma's work place with them. Just terrible.
