*Mom wanted me to share this message she received Sunday night from the pawesome human responsible fur getting Vinny The Handsome Beagle Boy to Hartford Connect The Dots - how khool is this - but how sad it is at the furry same time
I just spoke to Vinny's new mom & they are thrilled with their new baby boy! For those who don't know he was abandoned by the hunter who owned him & picked up in a very rural area by York County SC Animal Control. Our shelter sends as many dogs as possible straight to the rescue list where we have 72 hours to pull them or they face being PTS. One look at Vinny's face and I knew he would be one of our miracles whose life started rather than ended the day he ended up at "the pound". Vinny may have been produced or purchased for hunting, but all he's hunting is love! I am very honored to have met that sweet boy & thankful to each & every one of you who played a role in his "rescue"! Without you road warriors these guys would likely stay in foster care far longer than they should. I hope you all have a relaxing evening & sleep well tonight knowing you make a difference for animals every day.
Mom wants me to tell you once again we'll have to defer the sharing of the pikhs she wanted to share - work was - well - I'm not sure how to paw it here fur I think she was babbling even more inkhontrollably and inkhoherently than usual - I will try to get her to work on that post early next week so we khan park it fur posting next Thursday -

That note was fabulous and it says what we all think that your mum is a true lady night of the road. The person that dumped the poor dog in the first place is inhuman. It sounds as though your poor mum had a bad time at work and she should not worry about us because we understand.. Hugs GJ xx
