Monday MOMday

See what that desert heat does to khanines?
More about THAT later in the post - I'll turn it ovFUR to Mom! I finally remembered to take along the awesome sticker our friends over HERE had sent us! Whitney's B&B in the background This Sunday's sky was quite a bit different than last week - this time the blue was in Merryland - I had gotten to Hagerstown at my normal time of around noon - I went in to McD's for something and came out to find The Last Resorts passengers had arrived - I was happy to see them since I hadn't been able to drive the leg since I was doing THIS leg! The handsome Border Collie Mix is Butler
This sweetie is Siddartha
Bailey was wooing the photographer and her assistant
And this absolute beauty is Lacy - I was supposed to have transported her a few weeks ago but she didn't make that one OR the next one - this was third time is a charm for her - she was the most awesome chocolate brown colour with velvet fur - and one of the most loving pups I've encountered
McD's tree had bloomed

Marge wondering if we were there yet -
I told her we hadn't even left the parking lot
A shot of the Hagerstown Airport and the wetlands around it
One step closer!
Marge was a great shotgun - although she snoozed for a good portion of the trip - she found my upper arm to be her favourite pillow - someone in Vermont is getting a great companion - she was a true sweetheart - with nothing but devotion surrounding her
The Knight is on the move again - I think this was the third one I passed
The Power of The Paw in action
Marge's suitcase
Freeman - now Archie - just before departing Harrisburg
Maddie and Stolie
Marge

Sorry - no still pics of Bonnie - actually, I got very few pics of the pups BUT I did get plenty of videos - Freeman was such a bundle of energy that pics would have been a waste of bits - with just a tip of a tail in a shot - PLUS, he and Marge were on a mission to keep tieing me up with their leashes - and since there were three crates in the Xterra, all but one of the pics are of Marge - with Bonnie making an appearance but due to her colouring, she's not completely visible!
See Jack - I told you and The BG there is one of THOSE places in the area where we meet to pass along the pups!

This week's Harrisburg shot
Back down I83 I go

Another mission accomplished! I tucked the Road Dog Tales sticker under the wiper for the pic - and had gotten an extra smile from Cleo's Sunday post - it was the 142nd birthday of the ASPCA - with their ORANGE signature colour!
Our Sunday late afternoon walked presented this photo opp - the younger trees had bloomed - I shot this with the Blackberry - I also have some camera shots that Khyra will share tomorrow -
Khyra doing her best Lassie pose a few days ago -

What a great group of pups - both the ones that got to travel in The Xterra and the ones I encountered whilst waiting!

My run was for Rotts 'n Pups and PMAR ! ! !

We had mentioned the post including more about Jack - WELL, we dedicated the leg to Jack and The TG to show our appreciation for his donating a dollar from the sale of Jack's book this week!

Here is the link to the Photobucket Album with pics of all the pups - I had the transport request email for The Last Resort still in my mail - and lots of videos - the Photobucket Slideshow link is here - I've also added the pictures Mary took on her portion of the transport - she shed quite a few tears when she passed along Freeman - she had been his foster following his surrender so he had REALLY wiggled into her heart - but she knows he's gone to a great FUREVER home - like all the other pups from my transport! I'll be sure to share any updates we receive!

The Photobucket includes a pic of Archie and his new dad - along with his dad's roommates - they all love him! I got another pic I'll save for Tuesday's post!

Maddie is now Shea!

So once again, we have SO much proof that RESCUES ROCK!!!!!!!!!

Marge was an adorable co-pilot on the transport but mommy is still goo-goo over Freeman/Archie! His eyes tugged her heartstrings so we hope he has a very loving furever home!

Khyra, we love your Lassie pose!

Very nice post! Marge is a beaut and so are the rest of the fur-iends!
That's a very snazzy sign. I saw a funny and cute sign during our walks last few days, will put it on my blog tomorrow.
Have a great Monday with mom!!

Cheers,

We are just so glad that so many are finding loving forever homes. It gives hope that someday maybe every animal will have a safe and nurturing place to call home...thanks.

OMG, Marge is adorable! We're thrilled to have been able to ride along (kind of:) on this trip! That's so cool that your transport/rescue mobile is the ASPCA's color!

Thanks for stopping by - we're having many technical difficulties and are SOOOOOO behind on visiting.

You've inspired me - When my car is traded up for one that has fewer gremlins, I'd like to help transport. I think this is a wonderful way to help the cause. But that newer car is still pretty far down the road :(

Great pics of course - and thanks for the heads up on the book donations - I will have to hit up Amazon!
