Sunday Sharing

Welkhome To Brandy's B&B
Meet Brandy and Her Angels Freedom!

Khan woo believe how happy ALL of the subjekhts in the pikh look?

Mom says she wasn't sure who had the bigger smiles!

Aren't they all beaWOOtiful?
The charm SOOOOO worked!
Brandy looking bakhk at the place that saved her AND the special people responsible!
Mom was able to snag this shot she rarely gets to see from The Nice Becky Lady's FB page (she also snagged her other pikhs to inkhlude in the Photobukhket Album)
Mom brought Brandy to visit The Doggy Nanny, Khousin Merdie, and ME (video of THAT in the Photobukhket Album)
Then they headed bakhk to the interstate fur a ride to Hamburg
Mom says she was SUCH a happy girl - both Brandy and Mom!
Harrisburg on the way North
The split fur the next road to Brandy's furever life!
Mom has khwite a few of these shots in the Photobukhket - Brandy loved to watch traffikh as Mom drove - yet she loved to be khomfy too - you'll get a kikhk out of some of the pikhs - Mom had to get used to making sure she khould fit ALL of a khanine like a Saint Bernard in the shots!
I wonder what parts of Mango RH she'd miss if she was taking his pikh?

Mom thinks Brandy is the largest khanine to have travelled in The Xterra - she had previously chauffeured another Saint Girl last August - Delilah - but she was in a soft-sided khrate and a bit smaller than Brandy since she was only ten months old AND had known life on a chain - Brandy truly was as happy and sweet as the pikhs show
Brandy in Hamburg meeting her next drivers
She hopped in and got khomfy furry khwikhkly!
I believe this was the signal I'm ready to meet my furever peoples!
Mom wants to take the post now:

Thanks Khyra! What can I say about Saturday other than WOW?!? In the span of a few days, Brandy went from searching for a home to heading to one all because of one person telling another person who wrote another person etc etc etc!

Becky and her family were SO nice - I'm very hopeful our paths will cross again - and I'm pretty sure they will for I just feel it - just as Becky felt 'it' for Brandy - there was something about her that captured Becky's heart and drove her to helping her - neither of us could wait for Saturday morning to happen - and had Becky and her awesome daughters and husband not already had five dogs plus assorted other creatures, they would have adopted her!

Before I even made it back 'here' Becky had already commented on FB that they missed her so much! I agreed with her as it felt odd on the drive back to York not to see her in the rear view mirror!

Here is the link to the Photobucket Slideshow AND Photobucket Album with four videos

AGAIN, thanks to Becky, Tom, Sam and Janice From The Last Resort Rescue - for getting Brandy HOME! ! !

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE - 6:20pm Saturday - here is portion of a post Janice shared on FB:

"Hello all, Brandy is now with (her new family).
She and Kobe met and got along
perfectly.
Brandy is a GREAT dog.
AND I just hung up with a reporter for the
Easton-Express Times.
She is already doing a dog rescue group story but thought
she might be able to link us in.
We spoke about Brandy's situation and then a
little about the high kill shelters in the south and what The Last Resort does.

She told me the story she was doing was a group that drives a truck from Bowling
Greene KY Humane Society and transports dogs all up the east coast. Guess what!
My dog (Daisy) came up on that exact truck from that shelter! I told her how
Daisy is now a Therapy Dog and inspired me to do this type of thing with
Rescues.
THERE'S THE LINK to us!
I e-mailed her some pics of Brandy's transport
and now we will keep our fingers crossed for a TLR mention in the article.
(Trying to sell tickets to the fundraiser!!) I will keep you posted!"
Isn't that great?!?
Of course, no post would be complete without these two beaWOOties - I took them for a ride when I got back***

There was another picture of Khyra but I managed to delete it as I worked my way to the bottom - I'll make it up to her somehow!

Come back tomorrow for Caroline and Bailey's transport!

Woot Woot I'm first I'm first... neener neener neener. What an amazing story about Brandy and she looks so furry fun. I know what part of RH would be cut off in the pic and it's not his twig and berries.

PS some day I wanna ride with my ladees and get my photo in the rear view mirror. That would be something.

Woohoo for Brandy! AND for your mom for helping her get to her new home! Our mom's very first doggie was a Saint Bernard! His name was Brutus and he was a giant! Mom finally sent him to a new home on a farm where he could run free. She lived in the city and he had to be chained outside.
