Saturday Sharing

My furst sharing is...
is fur him that shall remain nameless but is the reason Mom is now a former E***** fan
There will be no more football games on here that feature THAT team PERIOD.
He really wasn't worth my using too much energy! I will khonserve that fur the weekend!
******
Now...some better sharing
These pikhs are in the order they were taken...
I smell weekend!
I'm watching out fur the fun to start
Chekhking out my salad choices...
and a pretty yellow 'flower'
My khytty blind...will they see me hidden here?
Nope...Mom khan't see me...
Khomfy
She just won't let me get khomfier...
Maybe if I smile and give her a khute shot she'll leave me be
It worked!!!
******
It is a furry important day
Chekhk out the link fur a listing of all sorts of akhtivities being held 'round the world!!!

AND

in keeping with that theme, the next to were SUPPOSED to be amongst Mom's Saturday passengers:ArissaHer pup SiennaMore Sienna

Her mom (Arissa) and sister (Lexy) were going to be gassed today (7/22/09) in a kill shelter in NC. Lexy was adopted locally but we saved mama & Sienna!!!

From the foster in NC:I don't know if I mentioned mom & puppy are very petite. I would say the mommy is about 22 lbs and the baby about 7 lbs. They are adorable and so loving. The mom seems potty trained and puppy has done very well. I keep them in a crate together at night. They both do great on leashes and also will sit & shake pretty well. The mom has a very sweet & calm temperament and the puppy is playful but also calm. Neither seems to have any health issues, no diarrhea or vomiting or anything of that sort. Hope this helps in finding them a home.

The girls are wonderful. I took them to a family cookout this afternoon & the little kids went crazy over them and they were great with the children.

I'm so glad that they are able to be together for a while longer. I wish they could find a home together even though I know that will likely not be the case. But at least for now they are able to.

Thank you for everything you have done. You have been such a tremendous support & guidance in this whole experience.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE: 10:30pm Friday

Arissa & Sienna will not be on transport.

We found an awesome home for them together in NC. We spent an hour and half on the phone, checked all their references, and did a vet check and it is a wonderful home!!

She is a stay at home mom who lived in a nice big house with children and 2 others dogs......

So, it will just be Delilah & Blazer..........Delilah

Delilah is a 10 month PB Saint Bernard. She was recently rescued from a miserable owner and has spent much of her short life on a 4 ft chain. She is underweight from not being fed consistently and still getting used to all the attention she is getting from her rescuers but is a total love bug and seemingly no worse for the wear from her previous life.

She is in foster in NC right now but will be arriving this weekend (8/15/09) after being spayed and vaccinated. Delilah likes other dogs and kids. We have no idea about cats yet but with such a sweet gentle soul I would expect she would do fine with everyoneBlazerMore Blazer (reskhued from a high kill shelter)

These lukhky pups are going to The Last Resort Reskhue!

Mom will probably khombine their transport leg with Sunday's leg on our Monday post!

Hugz&Khysses,

Khyra

PeeEssWoo: This would have been the birthday of a furry special furiend of mine - it would have also been the birthday of the mother of a furry special friend of Mom's! Here's to two grrrrrreat ladies!

You do know that your momma is an angel, don't you? Humans who do rescue are angels when they get to the Rainbow Bridge and have lots and lots of furry friends that love them. Yes, your momma is an angel.

Khyra - you're great at camouflage under the tree. It's quite obvious you have natural hunting skills. Did you spy any khats?

Your mom is doing an amazing job, you are lucky to have someone who loves doggies so much. Some doggies are not so lucky, but they should be. Keep up the amazing work!!!!

Khyra, you look great hiding, that flashy beast knows all and will sniff you out, but we are always glad to see pictures of beautiful Khyra. Khyra, we have just read the story about the E_______'s and were appalled!

Anyway onto happier things and that brings us back to you.
You are looking adorable as always trying to find a nice comfy spot away from the pupparazi!
We hope you have the best weekend. We are off to check out the link to the International Homeless Pets day as we didn't know about it!
Good luck with the transports mom, as always they look too cute - no dognapping allowed.

Dear Khyra...
Greetings from your long lost pal Fenway. I want you to know that your mom is an angel and my hero!

As for the Philly E*****, they are NOT. I am appalled that they wasted $1.5 MILLION DOLLARS on that piece of garbage.

I can get you in the New England Patriot's fan club easily. Just let 'em know you're Fenway's friend!
