Monday With Multiple M's

Mom's morning sky as she headed out shortly after 6am
She inadvertantly used her stitchingpanorama setting when she got home and took a few pikhs of us fur THIS post
Merdie said I'm ready to go bakhk in
I said I missed my tree - I'll sit here fur a bit!
I wanted to thank Sadie - and her sisfurs - fur the furry khool dedikhation to their mommy, daddy, Panther, and Rebok!

DON'T FURGET IF WOO WOULD LIKE TO HEAR MY MOM BABBLE ON AND ON ABOUT SOMETHING AND/OR SOMEONE, WOO KHAN BID ON YOUR OWN KHYRA TRANSPORT RUN OVFUR AT SHELBY'S AUKHTION

(I'LL EVEN THROW IN SOME KHYRA PHLOOF!!!!!)

AND WHILST WOO ARE THERE, PLEASE BE SURE TO CHEKHK OUT THE ZILLION OTHER KHOOL ITEMS!!!

Now I'll turn this bakhk ovFUR to Mom The Official Khyra's Khorner Babbler:

THANKS KHYRA!

I'd like to start off by thanking Bear-Bear for watching out for all the drivers this weekend that helped get the following special passengers to their better and/or furever lives

Here is Bruce's pic we got on the runsheet for my AM transport - this was for The Last Resort Rescue
Bruce was fostered by the same awesome folks that gave us ROCKY!!!

Here was Bruce's welcome to PA!
The charm worked again!
Just short of Carlisle, I saw another ME! This one was from WV - and the license plate might work for me - of course, Khyra would insist we spell it a bit differently - it was CRAZY CHK
Bruce spent his trip from Hagerstown to Harrisburg in the back - he covered most of the available napping space!
He was so good!
*
He SOOO knew the drill - I got off I81 and he got up in anticipation of his next limousine's arrival!
He had the most awesome 'domino' dots on the back of his ears -
He so knew how to shoot me the coy look!
What a great smile!
See!
He LOVED the ginger Happy Hearts - and he was soooo gentle at taking them!
He spied the OTHER handsome Sibe as soon as we got out of The Xterra
Seeing the handsome guy in this window too
He curled up and chilled!
And his pal The Shadow too
I'm so glad I got to meet this handome boy!
Thanks again to the awesome anonymous benefactor that covered the costs for this run!
Here is the link to his Photobucket Slideshow of pictures - AND here is the link to the album with FIVE videos - lots of both to see!

Now for Tranport #2 - this was for Rotts 'n Pups - and was also for Bear-Bear -

Heading back down I81 - ready to cross The River againOliver - he is a 3-1/2 month old Collie/GSD - his foster mom was the same one that sent us Cheyenne and Courage on July 10 and 11th PA welcomed THEM!Their charmed ride!Merlin - oh my: MERLIN! - another one of those snagged from THAT in time to thrill his new family - he's a GSD/Golden Retriever - he was quite shy but sooooo sweet - his eyes had captivated me ever since I saw his Petfinder page - I kept trying to get him to sleep shotgun with me but he was too reserved - he held down the spot between Oliver and Maya's cratesMaya - what a beauty - she's heading to foster - which is way better than what awaited her in NC - if you get my drift Oliver - his new mom and dad are just thrilled beyond thrilled with him!*Maya and Merlin checking out the tree that Bruce watered around 9am - this was around 2pm - if you look at Bruce's PB you'll see him in actionMerlin's tail and MayaHis face - I'll admit I cried a bit on the way to Harrisburg - it was just wrong that he felt he needed to be so shy - I so wanted him to know he was safe and would never know anything but happiness againSorry the Oliver pics are less than stellar - he was a wiggler that also wanted to be with me when I tried to snag a shot - you'll be able to see more of him in the videos

Here is the link to their Photobucket Slideshow AND here is the link to their album with SIX videos

I was so frustrated as I was uploading the videos for the first run - we lost our Internet connection here for a bit - which cost me precious time for getting this post together - as well as letting Khyra paw her part - SO, yes: we are WAY WAY WAY behind - you know we'll try but and I also know you'll understand!

I didn't have much of a chance to peruse any Bear-Bear articles BUT I'll add them when I see them - I do think I'll add another Bear-Bear pic on the sidebar which will link to the pet blog area of The Baltimore Sun - that seems to be an excellent area for updates

AND IF YOU DIDN'T HAVE A CHANCE TO READ MEESHKA'S HUMANS' INTERVIEW AND BLOG POST WITH BEAR-BEAR'S PARENTS, PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK IT OUT - YOU'LL FIND IT

H E R E

Thanks again for all the support!

Khyra, your khousin seems to not enjoy being outside under the tree as much as you do. Glad you were able to enjoy it though while she wimped out!

The transports were all adorable! We love Bruce's ears! Merlin is such a sweetie! Maya is a cutie - her body looked like mine when I was younger (and thinner)! We just loved them all and thanks for the shout out on the video!

Bear-Bear still is and always be in our hearts.

I think the best part of your 'job' would be to see the faces of the people when they get to meet their new family member! It must just make your heart sing.

Great transport pups! We think Bruce was like a big teddy "bear". And those ears were so cute. We can see why Merlin would touch your Mom so much - those eyes were so telling.

Seeing all these wonderful woofies on their way to happiness makes all us kitties purr, and makes Grete's tail wag.

Grete is still very upset about Bear-Bear, as are all of us. Thanks for keeping the story going so we never forget him.

You have been soooo busy. Thanks for helping all of these homeless friends find their way on to a new life. Awesome.

A reminder to all of your readers: There is a need for foster homes for many of them. It is a great way to spend your summer, meeting new friends.

We thought they were just wonderful. We did get the bad parts but at least it was at the end of their day on Saturday. The driver coming up 77 had bad bad traffic and came accross 52 which took an extra hour then we got in traffic on 81 where an 18 wheeler caught fire so it was several hours later than it should have been but they were good. They got about 20 minutes outside when we picked them up so their legs were good and stretched. They loved the AC.
