Sunday Sharing

A Study In Khontrasting KhonditionsFriday
Ah Friday
Foggy Friday
Foggy Friday with snow to sit in and on
Saturday
Soggy Saturday
What's the deal Mom?
This is so NOT funny
We had steadily khlimbing temps and steady rain fur most of Friday and Saturday. Since I had heard the weather babblers on the television, I knew I had to make the best of what we had.
This meant I spent much of Friday evening khamped out in my snow and let the rain pelt my spongy khoat! It was an enjoyable way to spend the evening!

We didn't get to see Merdie and her furamily fur khristmas but she snagged her dad's iPhone again and sent me this furry nice pikh!

Mom's Saturday transport had a redukhtion in passengers - it had been six with four being puppies - but fur some reason the hooman with the pups nevfur showed up at the meeting spot when it was time to head North.

Mom says Twister and Austin were pawesome passengers! She'll post about them on Monday BUT if woo just HAVE to see them 'now', here is the link to their Photobukhket Album...there are four videos and bunches of pikhs!

Mom is looking furward to today's special passengers. Reports from the road Saturday morning said how sweet they were and how well they were travelling!

Hugz&Khysses,

Khyra

PeeEssWoo: I wonder why there is a towel by the patio door where I khome in and out and in and out and out and in and out and in?

I think there is a towel because someone is sneaking in your house and taking a bath!! :)

I'm sorry the snow is leaving. Hopefully you'll have some more soon!

Your mom is a fantastikh photographer. (please don't laugh at my feeble attempt to speak Khyraese.) That study in "khontrasting Khonditions" is beautiful.

I stay at home on Sundays, while these two go to office and enjoy themselves:( Right now I am busy trying to find something to tear to shreds - it will teach them a lesson...right?

I am so angry at them...grrr...(with all that snow around, it must be brrrr...for you - as Mr. Koda says)

Khyra I am sorry your snow is leaving. You are correct- it is not funny.
Khyra ,the towel is from your snow baths- don't you remember? Nice and spiffy clean Khyra after you take a nice COLD snow bath.
The pics you and your mom shared are awsome!
What happiness and joy.
It just makes your heart feel happy.
It does mine- cause your mom ROCKS
Khyra! You do too

We were not sure this snow thing was such a good thing, but you sure make it look tempting!!

Goodness... tons of snow one day and then not so much the next! We think the towel is to make sure you don't get soggyness all over the house!

Are you making good use of the towel? I think your Mom wants you to wipe your paws. Pawrents are so funny. I hope that the temps don't go too high for you. I'll keep my paws crossed that you get more of the white stuff. We're so glad that your Mom had great passengers today.

WOO Khyra, the towel by the door is to ensure your fluffiness while woo lounge indoors. After all, if woo aren't laying in the snow (or enjoying what little of it remained), there's no point in being wet.

We are sorry to hear your snow left woo. Hopefully woo will see lots more of it soon.

Happy Sunday to you and your mom!

Furry interestin', I also have a towel at my door. With the disappearin' snow the towel is gettin' browner with each swipe of my paws. I hope they don't rub all of my brown off!

That is no towel. It is a super Khyra rain cape. I have one too and am using it liberally today. Personally, I am happy for the rain to get rid of the snow and ice (but it does make playtime a bit limited).

Khyra, you always manage to look great whether it is foggy, sunny, snowy or rainy. But if you want more snow, c'mon over - we still have lots of snow and it is still cold enough not to melt it. We can sit and look gorgeous together and then do zoomies all over the yard.

Oh no miss khyra..your snow island is shrinking. fooey. I wanna see mom squeeze your shammy coat and collect the water that you absorbed.

I never understand why the snow has to leave either. Not fair :(

KB said...

You look so happy in the snow! And, I can see that the melting would make you and your mom unhappy. My dogs complain about the towel by the door, until we towel their faces and heads. They adore that part!!! But, there's no mud there, so it's really just to make them happy!

Thanks Khyra for letting your mom do her good work. I hope that those 4 puppies are OK!

Don't worry, Khyra, you'll get more snow! make sure your mom drives carefully and watches out for nuts on the road!

Awwww, Khyra I am soooo very much sorry that YOUR snow is going away. I know how much you love it. Maybe you can get some more for New Year's.
As for that towel thingy... I think it is your mom's attempt at triumphing of HOPE over EXPERIENCE.

Bijou said...

So sorry to hear bout your missing snow Khyra. I really wanted to send you all of ours but mom said it was impossible. I think that towel might have something to do with the mud. That's just a guess though cause I don't ever get muddy paws! BOL

We will go take a look at the traveling puppers right now.

From what I remember you didn't get hardly any snow last year, so be happy you got this big blast this year. Probably more will come! The towell is for your feets I think. My Mom helps me with it a little, but you gotta dry up some before you enter your home. Its how it goes here.

Great picture Merdie! Did you have a happy Christmas with your kids?

Kisses,

Your Pal Stella

Hi Khyra! Sorry your snow has gone away. I haven't been able to enjoy ours because the groomer savagely stripped away my winter coat 2 days before the blizzard hit. I'm practically naked. The freezing temps have been brutal:(

It a shame that your snow is going away. I have loved seeing you enjoying it. The towel beside the door made mum smile, she sais she could just see you trailing snowy feet in and out. Looking forward to seeing the pictures from the special transport.. LOve GJ x

Dreaded snow thief. Ours is a little thinner, but still there. We are supposed to get some more this week, which is why we do not understand the humans going to the beach. Surely, they were not trying to get away from it?

After today's blog, I feel confident I asked for the proper Christmas present. I asked Santa for heating pads so I too can enjoy your snowy photos. You know what? I love anticipation. I'm excited but I decided to wait to read Monday's post. I'm so excited, I just can't hide it. Is it Monday yet?

That's too bad that your snow is leaving. You look so sad sitting in the rain watching it all melt away. Or maybe it's because you know you have to deal with that towel if you want to go back in.

We're glad Merdie sent her picture cause we've been missing her!

Ruby's Raiser said...

Aw, don't fret Khyra, we'll send you some of our snow! Hope you're having a fun holiday week!

We thinks someone is leaving muddy footprints in the house. Fenris likes our Christmas present but she is afraid of him. The rest of us are reserving judgement. ~S,S, & F

I like being a Christmas present if it means having plenty of food and a warm place to sleep. ~Artemis.

I took advantage of the melting here by jumping on the horse for a spin. We had fun. Hey, that towel... your Mom wants you to pick it up and run through the house with it in your mouth!

My Humans just told me about this movie they watched called Eight Below, and it made me really worried about you and your snow! Apparently, giant Seal Leopards pop out of the snow and eat dogs' legs!

Please be careful, Khyra!

Wow, Khyra - I can't believe that snow!!! And you look so amazing (and happy) sitting in it - like really "in your element"!! Wish you could send some of it my way as I think I am slowly baking or steaming to death in Australia...still, I'm not sure I would want to sit out in the snow for hours like you do...er, haven't quite got the same wardrobe as you! :-)

Sorry I have been MIA lately but hope that I can get back to blogging stuff more regularly now that my humans are starting to slow down!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
