 Watchin' Monday night -

 Lookin' at #4 and wonderin' -

                                                  The latest post on The Falcon Wire
                                                         5/26/2020  ::   Fledge Week?
The initial start date for Falcon Watch this year was selected based on the historical first flight records that have been kept by Volunteer Coordinator Sue Hannon since 2005. Historically, the female chicks tend to fledge between 40-44 days after hatching, and males tend to fledge between 38-40 days after hatching. The overwhelming majority of first flights for males has been on day 39. For females, there isn't a clear date for the first flight but there is a trend that when males outnumber females in the clutch, the females fledge a day or two earlier than when there are a majority of females.
Initially, the thought was the first two hatched were females and the youngest one was male. However, in the last few days, it has become clear that one of the first two chicks (probably the oldest) is also a male, and his development has been extremely rapid in the last few days. Projecting ahead, his first flight should take place on May 28. This likely could be a busy week for falcon fledging!
 Little watchin' Easter Lambie -
 My Dawn's Tuesday foodables - Shrimp and Khorn Chowday again - went with the bowl as it is oh-so-tasty!
 My #3 special
Grilled turkey, and steamed broccoli topped with melted Muenster on a
