Banding Event

The banding event will be live webcast at 1 PM, May 9th. Over 150 students, teachers and youth groups will be in attendance. Many of the teachers who will arrive with their students also attended a falcon teacher workshop here at the Rachel Carson State Office Building on April 3rd. This year we'll have two nestlings. They'll be weighed, examined and the sex will be determined before leg bands are attached. These bands will provide for an individual signature that identifies the birds when they fledge, disperse and seek out their own nesting territories   

Well, it was too windy during what I thought would be the FURst walk fur a video - Mom thought we would rekhord one later BUT not long after we got home, the rains arrived - there was an outing of some sort going on - it akhtually started about the same time as the rain - 

The bonus fur me was going on ROTE!  Of khourse, the flashie beastie went along too!

NOW FUR THE WISHES PART - IMPORTANT UPDATE: MY FURIEND SADIE - THE NORMAL ONE OVFUR AT THE BEADED TAIL IS HAVING SOME SURGERY TODAY - HER MOMMY IS FURRY SKHARED - AND I'M SURE EVEN HER KHAT SISFURS WILL BE WORRIED - PLEASE SEND SOME PAWSITIVE THOUGHTS THEIR WAY -
