Now fur a preview of The Zen-terra's passengers - FURST, here is the Angel Poirot who'll be watching - he earned his wings a few days ago - The Nice Steve and The Nice Betsy are often the drivers fur Leg 2 - from Commerce GA into South Carolina. This is the dedikhation that was received along with the runsheet
This transport is dedicated to Poirot, a 15-year old sweet and faithful Basinji mix companion to Betsy and Steve Shi.
It was with great sadness that Betsy and Steve Shi have had to say good-bye to their old faithful 15-year old friend Poirot. Poirot, a Basinji mix, who actually acted just like Hercule Poirot for whom he was named, came to Betsy and Steve in August of 1997, from the Buncombe County Animal Shelter in Asheville, NC, when he was just 6 weeks old. He lived a long, full life, but they say he gave them so very much more than they could possibly have given him. He crossed over the rainbow bridge on Wednesday, May 09, 2012 at 2:15 in the afternoon, in Betsy’s loving arms. Betsy wrote: “We will miss you greatly Poirot, you were the best!! Go run free with Shadow, Ivey, Liebchen, Miles, Sheba, Britt, Freckles, and all the cats.”
RIP, sweet Poirot. Play hard and with joy at the bridge. Thank you for watching over this transport for Elbert and Jazzy, as they make their long, two-day journey to new beginnings. Your dad is part of the team that will help them get home

So sorry to hear about the passing of Poirot. I think he is running and playing happily with his new friends at the Rainbow Bridge now. Our hugs to his family!!!

I'm so glad that Jazzy and Elbert have found their new home and I'm sure they will become the best siblings in no time. They must be so exciting to see their new mom soon!!!
