Thursday Thinking and Thanking

Looking out fur his pawtential new lady ?

Although it might seem too soon, don't furget it is all about the preservation of the species - especially given all the adversity the Peregrines have faced thanks to the humans' khemikhal attakhks on them.  Several years ago, the resident male disappeared - the long time female did sit and wait fur him - she did NOT go searching BUT eventually a new male khame by and started khalling on her - of khourse, the latin word responsible fur PEREGRINE is WANDERER
Of khourse, I wonder why they aren't SIBERIAN falkhons
I mean, they don't have to wear the string thing like I do!

 A worn out khamper!!!

Those are some pikhs the transport list received from Gracie's new family.  As we had shared, they were visited their daughter in NC but would be headed home to PAWSylvania!!!

The transport list also received this furry nice note from Tommy's new mom

I would like to thank all who had a part in Tommy's transport, and thank everyone for their pictures.  Unfortunately, I don't know how to reach everyone and wonder if you would be kind enough to forward this special "thank you" to those involved.  I am so lucky to have Tommy, and he is a great dog.  It would not have been possible if it were not for these caring people. Sincerely, Maureen

I'll khlose with another look bakhk at the weekend - The Nice Peggy Lady put together this pawesome PhotoShow

Happy Thursday EvFURRYone!

Merdie and I will get bakhk to thanking and thinking!

On our trip, the Runner spotted a falcon nest across a canyon from us. We used our spotting scope to watch them for days. There were 3 babies in the nest. They'd scoot over to the edge of their nest hole (in a cliff about 200 yards off the ground) to poop over the edge. I got scared every single time about whether they were going to fall!

We're not certain if they were peregrine or prairie falcons. We're working on it.

I'm so glad to see Merdie!

Miss Merdie looks like she had a great time at Khamp Khyra. I'll bet she slept for a couple of days to make up for the excitement.

Awwww, Merdie - you looked all pooped out but at the same time so very happy. And MFT - we think all of us sibes could be great wanderers too just like those falcons.

We had to be on the string until they came and fixed those dumb power lines. Now it's PLAY PLAY PLAY.
