Sunday Sharing

Dad has his bird's eye view again

This was from FrEYEday evening's walk - whilst we were on our walk, I got a text telling me of a special surprise!!!

YEP!!!  Khousin Merdie khame to Khamp Khyra fur a GIRLZZ ONLY weekend - we celebrated by chewing our bullystikks around the khamp fire!

Now to share the passengers and special dedikhation
HERE IS THE TRANSPORT DEDICATION THAT CAME ALONG WITH THE RUNSHEET - IT WAS WRITTEN BY MARY B - THE COORDINATOR FOR THE RUN

This transport is dedicated to the honor and memory of my own sweet and loving companion-my Angel LassieGirl, who crossed the Bridge in my arms at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Charlotte, NC on Memorial Day Weekend of 2007 – just two weeks after her 16th birthday.  Her vets mentioned all those days of our 10 mile walks together helped her reach that 16 year mark.  Rescued from the streets of a Houston, Texas neighborhood, her owners were found, but did not want her, so she came to live with me and my Dal, Sam.  Sam didn’t like her at all at first, but they did become best friends, and when Sam crossed the bridge in Alpharetta, GA, my LassieGirl grieved for him so much….LassieGirl traveled with me everywhere…to many states where my work took me – including Texas, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Georgia, Massachusetts, and of course, North Carolina.  She was an easy-going girl, who loved all things – cats, other dogs, bunnies, squirrels, people, and didn’t quite understand why the chipmunks didn’t want to play with her!  Angel LassieGirl, a large part of my heart is still with you, and I thank you for guiding others we have known and loved across the bridge, and for helping guide this transport; watching over everyone on this team as they help Gracie, a Sheltie kind of like our Lillie you loved, and Tommy, another beautiful collie, as they make their long 2-day journey to their new beginnings

Isn't Gracie so beaWOOtiful?  She was on the early legs fur Saturday - and got to meet her new furamily Saturday afternoon!  Ironikhally enough, her people are from PAWSylvania but were visiting in NC SO the  transport got her there from GA!
Here is Mom's passenger - Tommy - but a difFURent kind of Tommy from our handsome Springer pal from France!!!
Here is a shot from his trip to the spa in preparation of his trip HOME to NJ - later today!!!

Woo khan see more pikhs ovFUR here in the FB album fur RnP!!!

Happy Sunday EvFURRYone!!!

That is such a great surprise!

We're hoping the power company surprises us by getting that stupid line out of our yard so I can go and tackle Boris properly!

Good post. Good tribute and excellent passengers.
