ANN MARIE SWEENEY - HONORING HER LIFE, HER WORK, AND HER LOVE OF ANIMALS

This transport is dedicated to the honor and memory of Ann Marie Sweeney, who was the Foster Coordinator for the Roanoke Valley SPCA.

Ann Marie lost her battle with the evil monster “C” on January 14, 2012.

Through her passion, determination, and commitment to the recruitment of quality foster homes, Ann Marie helped more than 5,000 animals get the blessed second chance at life.

Bless you, Ann Marie. You are greatly missed by the animals and the humans.

May you RIP, free of all pain, and enjoy the time with the animals at the Bridge.

Thank you for watching over this transport’s volunteers, who share your love and passion for the animals, as they help four beautiful pups on their long journey to new beginnings

Dulcee, Maple, and Jezebel were dumped in a box at a kill shelter in S.C. when they were less than 4 weeks old! It's amazing they survived without their momma! They are very playful and get along great with other doggies!

Sonny wandered up to a wonderful couple’s home in Macon, GA, and liked it SO much, he decided he’d stay! They reached out to RNPR, and he came into rescue! He loves people and other dogs, and thinks he’s a lap dog!

Mom has been warned not to pet him - or he won't stop khyssing her!

SO, now do woo see why Mom told me to paw what I did yesterday?

Not only are all of them ooooooozing with khuteness, they all represent what reskhue is all about!

Mom and I have some special furiends in mind fur our dedikhation - we'll share that on Monday's post - but let's just say one is a Bleu Angel now - so Mom will be khovered from above The Rainbow Bridge - and the other lives pretty high up in the western part of the khountry - she might be able to see my tree from her rokhk along The Rockies!!!

Happy Sunday EvFURRYone!

Hugz&Khysses,

Khyra

PeeEssWoo: Mom had the chance to see some pikhs of the pups as they headed from GA to VA - they ARE as khute as these preview pikhs - if woo want to see more of them, please go take a look at ROTTS 'N PUPS FACEBOOK page!!!!

Squee, squee, squee says #1!

It's funny that #1 got a call from a friend this morning asking if she knew of any labrapups who were looking for a home...

Of course, we know how crazy they can be, given tat we have Fernant next door.

Sonny does look very kissable!

Woofs,
Tommy

Hey Khyra, can you tell your mom we think she's really great? Until we started fostering, we never knew what wonderful people were out there doing every sort of task for homeless pups. It's so encouraging to read about you all so far away!

xoxo,

Nora

I'm so sorry that I didn't visit your blog for the past few days as I was holidaying in a boarding home which my humans called a summer camp. I'm glad i'm home at last!

Mom is going to have an Xterra full of cuteness today for sure. They are all so very sweet.

Seems like we are having to say good-bye to too many good friends lately, both peeps and pets.
