Monday MOMday

Since it was raining - UNDERSTATEMENT - much of Sunday, I sat and pretended it was 30 degrees instead of 50+ degrees - and imagined my fluffy tail khovered in white instead of muddy grass - shortly after this shot was taken, it REALLY started to rain AGAIN - and mean old Mom disrupted my Princess RainKhloud Siberian Sponge work and MADE ME khome in - this pikh is akhtually a teaser fur some of what woo will see here tomorrow -

Time to turn it ovFUr to MomThanks Khyra - time to head out - Cody the ChocoLab next door made an appearance as I took the picture The traditional light shot - with $3.399 off in a distance - that is what I paid when I hit my traditional stop - although I did encounter $3.549 in MerrylandApproaching Chambersburg - this scene was repeated at least 87 times - please accept my apologies in advance for the lack of pictures and the quality of the ones I did take We met at the OTHER McD's along I81 in Hagerstown - this is Mona saying hi to one of the white fluffies -Sock checking out the breezeTwo of the O'fluffs - with a special guest appearance by another white fluffy tailSince it was soooo damp out, the passengers and pilots had really steamed up things A white fluffy checking out the Merryland smells Mona letting out her inner beastWhilst a white fluffy one played coy On the road to meet their next driver - we had arrived early at the meeting spot - and the other driver was still on their way - so we decided to hit the road with everyone and meet them up at the McD's near Chester's exit of I81 - we even offered to just take all eight to Harrisburg but they REALLY wanted to meet them - and I so can't blame them! Sock wasn't completely sure of all that was going on but it did not affect his temperament in the least - he is going to make someone an awesome furiend - Trust me - it says Welcome to PawsylvaniaThe eyes - oh my the eyes - these sisters had some of the coolest coloured eyes - they were a mix of brown and amber and olive - and SO expressive - they are a Husky mix - and given their tongue colouring, there could be some Chow in there - Sock liked to keep an eye out - but didn't quite feel up to riding shotgun - Two O's Two crates with 4 O's I so wanted to snag a better shot of this - I've been passing this one around Carlisle - it's a billboard for Sheetz that says FEEL THE LOVE - I mean, how much more appropriate could it be??? I will get a better shot next week - I wanted to include it because I referred to it in one of the videos shot in Hagerstown - so YES, there is a method to my madnessThe area I usually take a few approach pictures - well this week, we had a slightly newer YELLOW version of The Xterra - I know how Clive's Murray LOVES yellow thingsAgain, sorry for the rain ruining the shot but THAT is the corner of the Earthlink Building where Laska regained his pride that eventful Saturday - a moment I will NEVER forget - I always say I can see it like it just happened everytime I mention it - and I truly mean that - I DO! Approaching the South Bridge along I83-The best I can offer for a Harrisburg shot this time A sign from the day the honouree of this transport was keeping her eyes on me - and keeping the passengers safe as they made their two journey from Summerville GA to Newfoundland NJ. Lady was chauffeured around in a MDX - and this was my exit of I83. Suffice it to say, there were quite a few signs from her throughout my time on the road - she sent us Seattle weather - and as I took the ramp to I83 South, I heard a Warren Zevon song that brought some tears to my eyes since I was pretty sure Lady's dad was feeling some of the same - the hurt gets worse. I think her last sign was the White Xterra ahead of me for the last half mile to here - although it had PA plates, it was from Yuma AZ and Sonora Nissan - since Lady also lived in AZMission Accomplished!

Thanks to all that helped make it possible and for the support each week!

As I shared over the weekend, this transport was done for The Last Resort Rescue - BTW, I saw pics Sam had shared on FB of Hope and Vicky - the two I had wanted to drive last weekend - well, let's just say WOW! What beauties - and when I commented that to Sam, she shared they were - inside and out - Hope's colouring is awesome AND Vicky - well, let's just say she's going to make someone a very lucky human to get such a great SibeMal Gal - please check them out on TLR's Available Pets Link on their website -

Here are the links to this week's Photobucket album with videos AND the link for just the slideshow - the videos include another transport that met in the magic Earthlink Cul-de-Sac - four gorgeous chocolabradudettemixes - the videos also show the special feeling all get from meeting the passengers and the humans that make it possible - the other driver for the Hagerstown to Harrisburg leg made a family outing of it - her son and daughter each had a white fluffy with the daughter renaming them Cloud and Big Bunny - Mona was held by Dawn for the leg - and Sock supervised from the rear of the Subaru! You'll even hear the dad claim there were only three passengers for they wanted to keep Mona - especially since they already had a Dachshund!

One other sign Lady sent us was that the rain subsided - and stopped - whilst in Harrisburg - it allowed for the videos to be shot without hiding under cover - I no sooner got back on I81 and it let loose again - I'm so thankful for that because having watched the videos from the exchange in Harrisburg, I would regret not having had the opportunity to record the special love demonstrated by all the canines and humans present - in furson and person and from across The RB!

Once again, we so have proof RESCUES ROCK!!!

BTW, don't forget to check out all the great items available over at the auction for R&R!!!

Khyra will be back tomorrow to tell about stuffs - you know her!

We hope all those dogs get really good forever homes! They were so adorable! That sure was one wet day! Hope the sun is shining today!

take care

You know, there's almost always one passenger that I think is not as cute as can be...

But this time, they're all awesomely cute!

Thanks so much for dedicating this run to Lady. Your precious cargo directly relates to Lady's roots as a rescue girl. She is wagging her tail at the bridge knowing there are more deserving dogs finding home thanks to you and the transport angels.

You would not want to live in YUMA. My mom and dad were there once when it was 127 degrees. NOT kidding!!

Khyra, it's too bad your mom made you come in from the rain. Afterall, you are Princess RainKhloud Siberian Sponge!

The Xterra was filled with oodles and oodles of cuteness! If you lived closer we think our mommy would have hijacked the transport!

What a deluge! Good job making it a safe trip despite the torrents of rain.

I love the 4 O's! And the look that Socks gave you in one of those photos was priceless!

We were especially happy to see a White Dog making her way to a second chance...she looked part Eskie-ish to us. And the others were equally adorable and deserving of so much future happiness and safety. Thanks for being a part of their BIG opportunity.
