Monday With M's and P's and D's

Merdie and Me - or as Mom khalled it 'frog and floof'
Merdie khame ovFUR fur a bit Saturday afternoon SO we got some pikhs fur the khoming days - and since Mom has SOOOOOOOOOO many pikhs to share from Sunday's transport - there's a hint to get khomfy and snag a bowl of beverage - I khalled Merdie and asked if she was okay with just this pikh to khover the letter M fur today - she was khwite agreeable - SO I'll turn this ovFUR to MomThanks Khyra - a view as we left the drivewayAnd the Barbell Guy still going around in circles - maybe he's listening to Billy Preston Wolfpak Transport - by the way, COOL WEBSITE graphics!!!
These first pics are bonus pups - my transport was delayed a bit do to an accident encountered by the driver covering the Winchester VA to Hagerstown MD leg - it actually was on her way to get to Winchester - so I had some extra time - I grabbed a coffee and such at McD's and came out to see a vehicle I recognised as one of my usual transport friends - Edith was doing a transport for another group - she had four passengers - I got them in videos - and also snagged some pics and videos of Larry and Moe -
The funny thing was these two looked like they could have been part of The Disney Pups heading to me - as you'll soon see -
*

The stick did NOT go unnoticed

******

Now for my regularly scheduled passengers

This is Angie - she's the mom to The Disney Pups - she did not come North but we got some pics of her - she and her pups were saved by RnP when someone saw them dump them in a parking lot in GA and drive off - she is looking for a FUREVER home - so please check out her Petfinder page - she is an incredibly special girl!

Meet Balooo Mickey Minnie Happy Pluto and Thumper - Minnie is the only girl in the bunch - there are lots more pics in the Photobucket - and you'll be able to see which pup is which there - they had their names on their collars but squirmy adventurous pups didn't allow for clear checking - they are Golden Lab/Golden Retriever/AND probably some Basset Hounds as you'll see in the videos - the paws and build SO gave a hint of that contribution to the cuteness mix!

Wilson - he's the last of the 'wrinkle head pups that were destined to be boa constrictor food' - I had his siblings in early September

Rascal - my co-pilot - he was striking - GSD/Husky?/And I'm taking ideas - his muzzle was so square and his ears so neatly folded - this was his 'third time is a charm' on the transport list - his previous homes fell through - their loss his gain - he's headed to a 100 acre horsefarm in the Goshen NY area - he had been in foster with Angie and Her Disney Pups - and I could tell as he took a very keen interest in the pups on the way to Harrisburg - he periodically went back and checked on them

Helping me get back on I81 from Halfway Blvd in Hagerstown
Pawsylvania time!
With another successful mission by THE CHARM
Ah yes, the magic of what the camera catches even if that wasn't the original shot
And right after that one - made me chuckle!
Hoping his new furamily will love him and be happy to see him - AND THEY WERE THRILLED WHEN THEY MET SUNDAY AFTERNOON!!!
See what I mean about the muzzle and the ears?
*
Loved the tip of his tail

FINALLY, Elsie - isn't she a doll? She's a Mal/Husky/maybe Beagle mix - saved from a high kill shelter in GA - her foster was the awesome Lisa that had Maggie and her pups - she couldn't say enough things about how sweet Elsie is - and they were so true - but as you'll see in other pics and videos, she was sooooo petite -
Disney Pups
More Disney Pups -
Puppy Pile
Checking out his next chauffeur and assistant - the very nice Brian and Lisa
Styrofoam cups make great pup toys
Elsie
Wilson

Those two stayed with me so I could take them to their foster home in the Harrisburg area We got there before Syd and her mom returned from their fun day geocaching so I let Elsie and Wilson have some fun in the front yardThey got along so well - it was great to seeWilson was very content to sit and watch what was going on across the street - wagging his tail at all the people he sawChecking out their new backyard And their new foster sister SydElsie being comfySyd's mom went in for her camera - Syd waited for her returnLook at THAT face!!!More bitey bod fun!Syd showing Wilson the fun placesAnother mission accomplished here!Kind of says it all!

As Khyra shared to start the post, there are LOTS of pics - and LOTS of videos in the Photobucket album - I included pics that we got with the runsheets - so you'll be able to see the puppies more closely - and I also have the videos of the four pups I crossed paths with in Hagerstown - it was quite nice that Edith hung around to see this group - helped Renee and I get everyone transferred - and I included a video Mary sent from their stop in Charlotte on Saturday

Here is the SLIDESHOW LINK and here is THE ALBUM LINK which includes the videos!

It was quite cool to get to see Elsie, Syd, and Wilson meet, greet, and PLAY! We were outside in the yard for a while - then went inside and they lost no time at all finding their comfortable spots AND bowls and bones!

We decided to dedicate this transport as part of The International Dog Weekend promoted by Pedigree AND we also dedicated it to all the pals we lost this week - I tried to recall all of them during the video but I'm sure I missed some - please know, it was NOT intentional - after all, The Rainbow Bridge saw too many new residents this past week - I know our night sky has been extra bright with all the new stars out there

Once again thanks for the support - RESCUES ROCK!!!

Hugz&Khysses From Khyra's Khorner

PS: GO PHILLIES!!!

That Wilson resembles me a little bit but my muzzle is much longer. We share the GSD but he must have something with a boxier muzzle than my black lab dad. All of the rescue dogs were so cute and so lucky to have committed volunteers like you!

Yoo do such a wonderful thing, rescuing and helping save these pups and dogs. Mom was distraught when she read the words "destined to be boa constrictor food" ~ wot kind of a werld do we live in where people can treat beautiful animals so cruely? It makes mom despair ~ if it wasn't for kind loving folk like yoo ... she'd give up on life.

Wow, what a wonderful collection of rescues you encountered on Sunday. They are all fantastic. I must agree that Rascal is a very handsome boy and I am astounded that he has hopped around to numerous homes. There's something in his eyes that tells me he is very special.

Of course, the Golden mix pups are REALLY precious.

Frog and Floof - indeed!!!

Will catch up with your slide show tonight.
