Merdie resting up after her weekend
Time fur me to turn it ovFUR to Mom -she has lots to share - as usual - woo know how moms khan be!

Thanks Khyra!
First, I have some bonus pics of another transport I got to see in Hagerstown! I was early - as I like to be - and I noticed several different vehicles gathering - one even had some rescue stickers and such on it - one woman came over to ask if I was there for a transport - I said yes I was BUT not the one she was waiting for!

Coincidentally enough, the woman that did show up with some very nice passengers was the same woman I've met on multiple occasions with the MOST SPECIAL ONE being when I met Diana in Winchester VA to get that Laska fella!

Here are some of her passengers - I didn't get the chance to take a pic of one of them - she had some collar issues - as in the one she had on being too big and she risked slipping it so she got recrated right away but here are some special and lucky pupsHI WHITE DOG AND THE OTHER WHITE DOG!*I thought this one looked like a Benji relativeMack's sister Paris's male counterpartI helped walk him whilst the other pups were settled into their next vehicleThis girl was VERY sweet - Diana even told her that if she didn't already have enough dogs, she would take her! This little one was already loaded in and said LET'S GET GOING!

And they did which allowed me to wait for....Jerry - I told him his brother Ben had slept there a few weeks agoOur special charmJerry had a thing for Khyra style paws - you'll see LOTS of that in the Photobucket Album - most of his napping whilst heading North was with crossed paws! Rose - the AkitaHusky - and seeing her in the fur I also thought she could have some cattledog in there tooThe Puppy PileRocket - he road in a crate - but whilst at the transfer spot outside of Harrisburg he decided my front seat was the spot to be - actually, he didn't want to leave me - I had to carry him over to the crate in his next driver's vehicle!Rose before she left for AllentownHere is a pic we had been sent prior to the run of the pups - it was labelled that Kate was on the left; Abby on the rightEmilyOlivia -also referred to by a certain FrogLovinPal in Master Chew Sits as
"Sooper dooper cutie pie wow"
(Khyra had shared my passengers with him)

I did not get many pictures of them - also, I must apologise for not getting any good pictures of Lucky The DoxieMix - he is in the videos but with the amount of passengers and drivers, getting pics just didn't happen! These sweeties travelled with more luggage than I've EVER seen! I think there were at least a dozen totes/shopping bags/puppy crate pads/etc - BUT everything fit!

Here is the link to their Photobucket Album Slideshow which includes some of the pics from the runsheet along with some pics from Saturday; here is the link to the Photobucket Album WITH FIVE VIDEOS!

This transport was dedicated to all the moms and dads worrying about and taking care of cats and canines with health issues right now. In the last of the videos, I mentioned Mona and Mommy AND Asa and her family BUT they are not the only ones in our thoughts during these times - The Power of the Paw is needed for Tweedles as she has a long ten days ahead of her as she awaits her test results

I knew it was going to be a successful transport day when I got on PA Rte 581 from I83 and saw a license plate frame with VIZSLA DOG; and on the way back to Harrisburg I passed a vehicle from GoldHeart Golden Retriever Rescue!

BTW, one last thing, I wanted to pass along part of a message Mona sent Khyra

We have decided to keep doing what we always do and take things as they come.Thank you my dear friend for being so kind to me and letting everybody know about my little problem. Mommy just still can't bring herself to blog right now cause she just doesn't know what to say but we have been reading lots of blogs. Please if you could let everybody know how much we love them all and feel so bless that everybody cares so much.God Bless you my friend and {{{huggies}}}..Mona

I think the first sentence sums up a lot of what we need to do day by day!

Thanks again for the all support and kind words!

Hugz&Khysses From Khyra's Khorner

P.S. Please forgive our quick blog visits on Sunday - when I left Sunday AM for Hagerstown, I had 15 in my GR - when I returned, 60+ but I needed to put together the Photobucket AND let Khyra do her part of the post!

Our hearts are always touched
by seeing the love you share
for all fur babies,
big and small.
Were touched by the power of the paws.
Today I counted flower blossoms as they floated to the ground.
And then I watched my bubbles float into the sky.
It was magical.
Thank you for your kind words

Terminal Puppy Cuteness. Thank you for sharing. Did you know that muzzer uses your blog to get her puppy fix...sometimes she goes and awwwwws over the photo bucket a couple of times a week.

Ah well, it keeps her out of the rescue sites, so for that we thank you...and for so many other things.'

Lots of cute doggys here today. I especially like the scruffy Benji look-alike. I think we might be kindred spirits.

Khyra - tell your mom thanks... my asst. learned something from her on Jack's blog. She never noticed that you could leave an e-mail address with your comment. She's just not very bright I'm afraid. How could she have been doing this for so long and not have known that?? She's never figured out how to use Google Reader either... is there a way to leave comments if you read the blogs that way? Sorry for the stupid question, but as I said, she's a few biscuits short of a full box.

Woo Woo, Khyra. We are so glad your Mom is on these transports. Of course we notice that her efforts are not hampering your ability to blog. I think we need our Mom to take several lessons from yours.

Well, we were told we could have our pancakes, roasted chicken, shrimp, etc. or we could blog. You know which one we took.

Love ya, Ms. Kh.

So many dogs anticipating wonderful new lives thanks to rescuers and transport drivers like you...there is just not enough ways to say "thank you" for giving hope and forever homes to our less fortunate brothers and sisters. We were very excited that two of our own were on the freedom train and we wish them lives as rich as Quinn's has become since he became a part of our family.
