Monday MOMandMeDay - With Sad News From Sunday

We learned Sunday afternoon that Ziggy has left us

Please stop by his blog and paw some words fur his furamily. Please keep his brofur Pedro in your thoughts as well. I'm sure he'd appreciate if woo would send some love his way as well.

We'll miss woo Ziggy!

Happy Trails AND Happy FLUFFY Tail too!

Please run free and healthy!
I know from reading the pawesome khomments that many of woo have already stopped by BUT I wanted to pass it along just in khase woo hadn't heard

******

Paws khrossed fur snow!
But in the meantime, I'll pose
YUM! PIGSKIN!

Seeing if the golfers are watching!

Watch Out Bloomsburg Husky

Watch out Northern Illinois Husky

Watch out Dubs!

Now, I'll turn this ovFUR to Mom

Thanks Khyra!

Once again, I appreciate you permitting me to take The Xterra to pick up this handsome fellaSay hi to Red The Handsome GentHe did THIS the entire trip from Hagerstown to Harrisburg - only the locations in the back of The Xterra changed!

At one point, he did assume the StudMuffin pose BUT he shifted before the flashie beast could get him!See, slightly moved!Isn't he just gorgeous?Yum! Happy Hearts!

More Happy Hearts!I mean WOW!!!

He was an unbelievably sweet boy! He was well mannered and just a joy to transport!

He made himself right at home on his overnight hosts' bed Saturday evening although he did move to the floor by the bed when one of their dogs wanted their regular spot.

I had to keep looking in the rearview mirror to make sure he was still in The Xterra because he didn't make a peep! He gave gentle little kisses and took his Happy Hearts soooooo very well!

Sunday's weather was quite a bit warmer (+2C/35F) than last Sunday's -10C/15F BUT unfortunately it was wet and overcast so there aren't many outside pics. Since he was just a contented passenger, I didn't get many enroute either!

It is hard to believe that no one is missing this boy! I know I am even though we only spent two hours together!

Here is his Photobucket Slideshow AND here is his Photobucket Album which includes three videos!

I just know the people that are adopting him via The Last Resort Rescue are already in love!

In fact, here is the note Sam sent us Sunday afternoon:

Hi All!!

Thank you for keeping Red safe and warm on his ride to his new family! He has met them and they are in love!

Thank you all SO much!!

Very sad about Ziggy. I never met Ziggy but I went to his and Pedro's blogs and my heart is crying. So sad. He was too young to go. Thanks for letting us know.

And what is up with green grass? Snow - it never stays as long as we want it to! Nice football, by the way!

Oh, Red is a very cool looking doggy! Glad he had a good trip with you mom!

Red is such a handsome fellow, we are glad he has found a furever family.

And, we do not know how the golfers can concentrate on their game with such lovely scenery. Do they get a free stroke for the distraction factor?

Hey Khyra,
We are very sorry to hear that Ziggy has made the journey to The Rainbow Bridge. We will leave our condolences on his blog and post to his brother's.
We think that taking a ride in the Xterra would be GReat cuz Happy Heart Cookies fly through the air in the Xterra; we have proof positive photographs form your blog. Jubal is really good at catching things, especially Happy Hearts, flying through the air. We just got a new sampler supply of Happy Hearts from Ms. Gerri courtesy of the AO4 gang cuz our Navy team beat up on their Army team in pigskin ball; good thing that you wasn't playing for the Army team.
Please tell your mom how much we appreciate her transport trips. It is GReat that she helps lost souls find a new furever home. We don't understand how Red could become lost or abandoned. We're happy that he went to a new furewver home.
Bravo-Zulu to youse guys for all ya do for us rescue pups.
