1/10/2020 :: Repairs Completed
Today, repairs and maintenance were completed on the 15th floor ledge. The primary reason for accessing the ledge was to repair the trim on the nest box. Once this was completed, clean gravel was added to the box, the camera lenses were cleaned, and some basic measurements were added to the interior of the nest box. These inch increments will allow Falcon Cam fans to follow the growth of the hatchlings this spring. Fortunately, the timing was perfect, there were no issues with the falcons since, at the time, they were not present. All tasks were completed without a hitch. DEP takes the condition of the 15th floor ledge and nest box seriously so repairs were made as soon as compliance with the safety protocol was completed!
