Whilst Mom enjoyed her SUNday morning khoffee, I was out SUNning myself

She snagged my pikh from the laundry room -

then khame out fur MORE of me!
Now to let her take ovFUR the keyboard!

Thanks Khyra

Off to Harrisburg I go

There it is for the first time

I got to see another tranport of cuties - got some pics AND some videos - I've included them in the Photobucket - this Beagle Gal was so sweet

This girl stole my heart - I spent much of the time with her - she was so scared - yet so curious about all that was going on - I think she was probably GSD and Rotti - and maybe even some cattledog too - she needed to be coaxed from the crate - but once out, she was okay - but when it was time for that group to hit the road, she wanted to hide again -

There were THREE of these dolls!

I was lucky enough to encounter Tom - he had actually been the one to bring them from Hagerstown - his van was FULL - and their trek to Hamburg was split between two drivers due to the number of passengers - since their transport was about a half hour or so ahead of mine, they were gone from Hamburg when I got there -

She is going to take some work for someone - but I just know it will be so incredible to watch her emerge and know she's safe AND loved!

Those paws held the clues to her breeds!

Now for my load of cuteness - no one wanted to be shotgun - so we had a pile of squeeee in the back!

Today's first YELLOW for MURRAY - my timing was a bit off but I'm sure he'll forgive me!

Walker was the surrogate mom to the three younger travellers - she was just gorgeous

The Xterra football toy was put to good use - their drivers from Hagerstown to Harrisburg reported this gal to be a bit of a chewer - I got to see that too - she thought the crate was a nice chewtoy - I convinced her to stop by tossing the football into the back -

I think I've determined this one is Sally

More Sally

That was Mikey - the lone male - and YES, he was that cute!

More YELLOW for MURRAY

I got a better picture of the Hamburg sign along the railroad - with the added bonus of more YELLOW for MURRAY!

Words and pictures do NOT do this girl justice! I think we've decided she's a LabraPei -

Mikey and Libby

Mikey - he was the last one I transferred to the driver for the last portion of their big weekend -

He was booking over to the 4Runner for his ride to NJ!

Would you take a look at THOSE paws???!!!???

Again, Walker was just breathtaking!

More YELLOW for MURRAY - I spotted the WAWA as I headed back to our meeting spot - so I knew I'd get gas there for the trip back - along with a pumpkin spice KHappucino and soft pretzel - PLUS, it was the best price for gas I saw between York and Hamburg!

I FINALLY was able to snag a shot of this one - not only is it YELLOW for MURRAY, the name reminded me of a certain pup in OP KS - of course, a certain other pup in OP KS would NOT like the firework part of it!

The drive back surely provided some interesting skEYE shots

as the sun was setting as I hit Harrisburg -

Harrisburg for the second time

Notice the difference in this week's pic - I was so reminded why I prefer to do the Hagerstown to Harrisburg leg during this time of year BUT I always offer to do the leg that is needed - in this case, it was the one to Hamburg -

I needed to use the flash for you to see The Xterra in the driveway spot declaring MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!!
What a day full of sweetness! I was glad to encounter the other group whilst waiting for my passengers - I know I've mentioned it already but make sure you check out their videos and pics - quite a collection of lucky canines and great drivers!

We dedicated the leg to Fargo - I hope his WiFi connection North of The Rainbow Bridge is hooked up so he can see the happy tails who will have their own tales of rescue to tell!

Here is the Photobucket link with the slideshow - and here is the link with seven videos along with the pictures -

We ended up meeting next to the Cracker Barrel in Hamburg - when I got to our meeting spot by the railtrail park, I phoned the other driver - since she had come from lower NY State, she was just finishing lunch back at The CB - I said since we hadn't gotten out yet, I would just meet her up there - that's why you'll see shots from the parking lot and not pictures from the park!

Once again, we can say RESCUES ROCK - in the case, The Last Resort Rescue!!!!

Khyra will be back tomorrow to tell you about some tasty stuffs along with some other events!
