FrEYEday SkEYEday FLYday

Sunday night Mom and I saw one of the RT Hawks land in this khlump of trees
It kept shifting from limb to limb - but Mom khouldn't get a khlear pikh of it - and then

Off it went

Mom just kept snapping and pointing

Pointing and snapping

Pressing

and hoping she was snagging something

We akhtually had been emailing The Residents of JFF whilst on our walk - shared what we had been watching - and hoping we had gotten SOMETHING to post

We did

*

Then the next night as we headed towards my khattle pals playpasture, we spotted the pair of them

This was the tree the one was in on Sunday night prior to heading to the trees we opened the post with today

We walked khloser and the upper one took off - we think it was the female seeing them together -

and headed over to their utility tower - Mom and I framed up the male but he flew before we snagged him - Mom was so disappointed fur we were really just below him at the tree

The tree from their view of things

My view of their vantage point

Looks like they were chatting about the silly human and the beaWOOtiful Siberian!

Happy FrEYEday ! ! !

hey Khyra,

Your mom got excellent shots of the birds! My favorite is the close-up of the two in the tree. Love it! And my second favorite is the two of them on the tower gossiping about your mom and beautiful you! :->

I am also very impressed with the picture of you looking toward the tower. You are very pretty, and I am glad you managed to sneak a shot of yourself into the post. :->

I can remember, not to long ago, when it was almost a miracle to see an RT, (or any other raptor) due to the pesticdes. I just love that they are everywhere, again.

Happy, Waggin' Tails, FUREVER!

Great catches of the RT hawks. Just be careful they don't fly overhead and let out some bombs:)

We believe there is nothing more beautiful than a hawk soaring in flight ...except maybe our good friend, Khyra!

Have a great weekend and a safe transport.
