HI, I'M BLACKIE. I AM ABOUT A YEAR OLD MALE BORDER COLLIE / CHOW MIX. I AM NEUTERED AND UP TO DATE ON SHOTS. I MIGHT BE SCARED OF YOU AT FIRST BECAUSE I WAS ABUSED BUT I WARM UP AND AM VERY LOVING AND AFFECTIONATE ONCE I GET TO KNOW YOU.

JAZZY IS A WONDERFUL PIT BULL WHO IS ABOUT 2 YEARS OLD. JAZZY IS A VERY WARM AND LOVING GIRL WHO IS HEARTWORM POSITIVE AND HER PREVIOUS OWNER HAS OVERBRED HER. BUT FOR FOLLOW UPS, JAZZY'S HW TREATMENT HAS NOW BEEN COMPLETED AND SHE IS UP FOR ADOPTION. WON'T YOU PLEASE GIVE THIS POOR BABY A HOME. SHE HAS KNOWN ONLY ABUSE AND SO DESERVES TO BE LOVED AND SAFE.


WE RESCUED JESSE AND SHE WAS ADOPTED BY A WONDERFUL FAMILY THAT HAD TO RETURN HER TO US BECAUSE OF SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUES IN THEIR FAMILY. JESSE IS A 9 MONTH OLD FEMALE BRINDLE BOXER MIX WHO IS SPAYED, HW NEGATIVE AND UP TO DATE ON VACCINATIONS. JESSE WAS ABUSED AND IS PRETTY TIMID AT FIRST. SHE IS ALSO AN INCREDIBLY LOVING AND AFFECTIONATE GIRL WHO WANTS NOTHING MORE THAN TO BE LOVED AND SAFE.

Being from Chicago and living in NY for three years, I have never seen such conditions as I have in the South. I have been in GA for 7 1/2 years now and we can't get these poor, innocent babies up North (for the most part) quick enough. I have been given the gift of being able to pull the animals (however heartbreaking that is), to vetting, loving and fostering them... to transporting them and the best gift of all... bringing them home to their new families. Yes, I cried when I let Jada and Max go yesterday because they have been so much a part of my heart. But I have no regrets because I know that they are going to wonderful forever homes. Jada, Max and all of the other animals that get transported each and every day so deserve this.


We all do our part and try our best...... YEA TO ALL OF US!!!!!!

Again, I am in awe of how many people are willing to help transport animals saved from dire circumstances to safe locations and the opportunity to find loving and forever homes. If not for ones like Amy who spend countless hours arranging complicated transports with people in so many states, volunteers who step up to drive, ones who open up their homes for overnight stays and rest for the animals, the rescue groups and new foster homes who take in the animals from the Southeast states then those of us who initally save the animals, would not have a resource for the saved ones..It is obvious that in our area there are not enough loving homes for them.

I thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my heart...and look forward to more succesful transports.
